( This is the monthly meeting for Internal Affairs District cats. Only characters who are part of the district may reply. If someone would like their character to challenge Senescence for her position as Proxy, you may. Just be forewarned your character will die. )
Senescence lounged on her bed in the Burning Tower. It had been a while since she'd had a meeting with the district. In fact, she hadn't had a proper one since the district's creation. It was about time to see if anyone wanted to try and kill her today. Probably not. She'd lived long enough now that most understood she wouldn't be an easy cat to beat, and she had yet to be challenged for her position. Maybe she'd be lucky and it would happen though.
The cats of the district had arrived in time, all gathered below her across the floor, the crackling fire warm against the rainy day, thunder rumbling and lightning streaking across the dark sky even as they sat in the tower, saved from the elements by the windows. She'd let them know to bring prey, too. This wasn't a meeting to talk about the new room in the district, as Brilliance-kun wasn't allowed to know about it. It was mostly a casual meeting, and a chance for them to reveal some of the information they'd been holding to themselves thus far. New rooms and passages, and the lives of the other districts they'd been observing recently.
Flame sat bellow Scenescence, her broad shoulders square and a plump hare laying at her paws. Her turquoise eyes glinted menacingly. Her heart had really darkened since she had first joined Primal Instinct. Her thirst for power growing more and more unbearable. She wanted to be in power and Scenescence had been in a high position long enough. Did she dare challenge the Proxy for her position? Was she ready for that? If she failed, she would surely die. She knew Scenesence wouldnt give in easily. The Proxy had reminded her of her power when Flame was still a prisoner, a scar stretching across her muzzle was Scenescence's house warming gift to her. She flexed her claws as she relived the memory in her mind. She blinked to rid of the flash back.
No. She really shouldnt challenge Scenescence, as much as she wanted the position. She would be no use being dead even though her ambition made her feel too big for her own pelt, making it highly uncomfortable and irritable to be looked down on.

Brilliance-kun had been in the back of the group, a pair of mice in front of her, only able to see Senescence through a gap between where others sat in front of her. Their silhouettes towered over her, swallowing her into a black void. Wanting nothing more than to push through the crowd so she didn't have to sit in the same position, she didn't move, ever cautious. Her dark tail slapped the carpeted ground in mild frustration, a shiver running up her spine as most of the heat was bring absorbed by those in front of her.
For one who had just pledged themselves to Senescence, she had dreams of taking the place of proxy. It was her dream to be the best, to climb the ladder. But right now, that involved surviving. And there was no way she would survive a fight. That thought was far from her mind, instead she looked at the others, trying to place names to faces.

A head poked out from under the covers behind Senescence as a lynx-point tom stretched out his lengthy body and released a yawn. His blue eyes glazed with sleep as he sat down in a sitting position next to the proxy. Lynx lifted a paw and rubbed at his eyes at an attempt to erase the sleep from them. "Yeah.... I didn't bring any prey." The tom said simply. He figured the she-cat would want him to get down, but as he stretched out on the pillows it became clear that he had no intentions of leaving his comfy spot. That was part of the deal, after all. He'd work for her only if he could sleep wherever he wanted. "Oh, also, I have no intentions of challenging you." He considered informing the proxy that Maia had been taken care of, but decided instead that he'd make her work for that information. Lilith was the next to arrive. The she-cat hanging towards the back of the crowd with a mouse hanging from her jaws. It was something she had caught along the way upstairs and wasn't particularly appetizing, but was better then nothing. At this point she wasn't really looking to impress Senescence. It become clear that she'd have to pin down the proxy's loyalty once she was able to secure nemesis. Meanwhile, she'd lay low and just follow orders. Wendy made her way up the stairs slowly. Her heart skipping a beat as a shrew and two mice hung from her jaws by their tails. Senescence had told her to bring prey, but hadn't gone into details about how much to bring, so Wendy had gone out hunting all morning. She had even more downstairs stashed under her bed just encase Senescence expected more, but her jaws could only carry so much. She took a seat next to Brilliance-kun, her ear twitching in greetings at the newly promoted trainee.
