Peach padded up to the charged cats standing in the conclave, the place where the Trial was held for every aspiring combatant of Absum Lux. Some older coalition cats had briefed him on what the role of the charged was, and how he was supposed to help them - he thought he mostly understood, but there was still a part of him that felt unduly anxious about what was to come. He'd trained apprentices before, so why was he so nervous now? Because it's your first time training adults, the rational part of his brain told him. Shut up, me, the irrational part retorted back. What do you know?
