Soft looking grey clouds covered the sky overhead back in the depths of NightClan territory. It was clear by the scent of the air it was going to rain soon, but for the time being the temperature was cool and was a perfect time for setting up a hunting party.

Rainwhisper was padding out of her den with a look of determination on her face, Mistfeather quietly following beside her. The two of them were the loner pair, always being together and never being very far apart. To many in the Clan, most would figure them relationship material given how close they were; however, only those who knew them well would understand their relationship was nothing more than a good friendship that has lasted between them since they were kits. They were not related to each other by blood, but in many ways they felt like family. Days like this would bring them memories of their youth having grown up in a time where the rain constantly poured and their land was covered in mist. Along with each respected cat's siblings, they were given names reflecting this time. 

"We should head towards the border, the more we follow the clouds the longer the rain will be ushering prey onto the land. Then once it stops we will be ready for the birds coming out for insects," Rainwhisper meowed softly as she approached the camp entrance. Mistfeather would only kindly nod his head, his comrade never bothered by his lack of communication and had become accustomed to him popping in and out of no where.
