Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
Good afternoon guys, gals and non-binary pals. This comes without warning but I admit, I'm quite a fan of spontaneity.
I am searching for a coding assistant and a team to support myself and the offsite. These roles will come with responsibilities to the offsite and to myself. Not only that, but these roles will come with a chance: Should you show interest, responsibility, diligence and carry on an open communication line with myself, you could have the chance to become Offsite Administrator.
Yes, I will be looking to step down in a matter of months. Thus, I require an assistant and team that can follow through with the below.
OFFSITE ASSISTANT DUTIES –
code layouts, large or small, for users upon the main site
assist in site maintenance of the offsite
create coding tutorials, both HTML / CSS & BBCode, on the offsite for main site users
assist in advertising the main site upon other forums and platforms
assist with updating history pages for clan leaders unable to do it themselves

ACTIVITY ON SITE: Within a 7 day period I am guaranteed to be on and actively replying to threads and messages 5 days a week. However I am being conservative with this as I am typically seen on for no less than an hour a day if not more.
WHAT DAYS ARE YOU MOST REGULARLY ACTIVE?: I am a stay at home pregnant student... so Monday through Sunday. Most hours accumulated Saturday, Sunday, and Tuesday - Thursday. In the mornings and evenings.
HAVE YOU EVER HELD A MODERATOR OR ADMINISTRATOR POSITION BEFORE?: Yes. Moderator: Back when I first lead Primal Instinct the first time. Several years ago. And once more after that then as WinterClan leader and after that as a helper moderator. I was the offsite Administrator when the move from Wiki was made official. I was learning HTML with your help and the help of Cleaver. Although BBcode was my jam. I am a little out of practice but am interested in relearning. The extent of my positions were 4 to 6 months. I would have remained Admin if I hadn't been dealing with the first trimester of pregnancy ha.
DO YOU HAVE EXPERIENCE IN CODING?: Limited here on Wcc2 and on my own sites. I also created the original offsite site. As stated above I was learning HTML and BBcode but am out of practice.
WHY WOULD YOU LIKE TO BE CONSIDERED?: I feel my time as Offsite admin was cut short when it could have been so much more. At the time I had plans and hopes to see some cool stuff take place in the offsite realm of Wcc2. I feel I do well when I have the chance to learn first. While I appreciated my time as Offsite when it was mine it was a struggle falling right into it and kinda trying to scrape my way through it. I want to work alongside someone for a time and learn from someone better and more knowledgeable than I before I could be considered to take their place when they are ready to step down. Aside from the coding aspect the job of assisting an admin or participating in admin tasks is thrilling an appealing to my organizational nature.
WHICH POSITION WOULD YOU LIKE TO BE CONSIDERED FOR?: Offsite assistant.
TELL ME OF A TIME YOU HAD TO RESOLVE A SITUATION OF CONFLICT & THE STEPS YOU TOOK TO RESOLVE IT: I tend to not find myself in person to person conflict. I try to remain neutral until I am absolutely sure of my stance. However I had a lot of fun struggling through internal conflict with the original offsite site.
1 - Originally I feared the thought of creating an entire site to act as a backed computing mind hive for classic. I felt my skills were not even close to the required level. 2 - After much fretting and encouragement from the other Admin staff I was able to take the baby steps necessary to begin the extensive task. 3 - I tried with my limited knowledge and anxiety to find skins and code outside of using the sources of my friends. 4 - Finally when I came to the end where there were but a few things I couldn't figure out I requested assistance from Cleaver. 5 - All in all I was pleased with the final shell I ended up with and the knowledge I had gained form the project. I had even been inspired to do an overhaul on my own site with some of the knowledge I had gained.
DO YOU OR HAVE YOU AT ANY TIME GONE INACTIVE WITHOUT WARNING: No. I always gave warning for my inactivity. As well as discussing it for a period of time and choosing a successor who I believed more than capable before officially leaving for a holiday or health reason. Recently the first trimester of pregnancy being the cause 4 months ago. (The first is the worst you feel sick and just sleep all day and feel dead inside) I left letting everyone know my intentions of returning but knowing the fairness in stepping down as the rules insist.
WHAT ARE YOUR IDEAS FOR THE OFFSITE, SHOULD YOU BE CHOSEN: While Wcc2 seems to be doing well standing tall on its own I think it has potential befriending other substancial Proboard sites. What wcc2 seems to fail in is keeping the interest of new members long enough to integrate them beyond a few threads. This seems like many tasks of many admins needing to work together but I do believe it starts with the offsite.
I have not had a chance to speak with you on where you are and your current thoughts and plans over the next few months but after a good conversation I feel I could have more thoughts and ideas on this subject. I do not wish to label more if they would simply be redundant if already taking place or have already been done and I simply can't see the production of it yet.
TELL ME THREE (3) TRAITS YOU HAVE THAT YOU LIKE ABOUT YOURSELF:
1- I am well organized. I like lists and lists like me. I start my days with a todo list and check off items as they are completed. If a task proves to take longer than expected I will go so far as to break the task up into sessions for better completion without rushing or messing up.
2- Competitive. Not to the point of eating ghost pepper sauce because someone dared me too, but in tasks I am competitive with myself. If I fear I can't do I I will do it. This is how I got over my extreme fear of heights. If you think you can't do it, take a breath, don't over think it, just do it.
3 - Perseverance. If I start a task I will finish it. That's not to say it won't take me a little time, but it will always get done. If I have to ask for help I will. There is no shame in have a limitation. Its moving beyond it and learning from it that sets you apart.

ACTIVITY ON SITE: I'm online checking messages daily but am online for several hours about 4-5 days a week depending on my school schedule and the number of days I am working. When I work I usually pop in at the end of the day but not for every long usually since I usually need to do homework.
WHAT DAYS ARE YOU MOST REGULARLY ACTIVE?: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday [Wednesday and Friday I am usually working]
HAVE YOU EVER HELD A MODERATOR OR ADMINISTRATOR POSITION BEFORE?: For WCC2 I've been a Moderator and a temporary Administrator back in 2012-2013 at some point, I cannot recall the specific timeframe. But I also was a Curator and Leader of Warriors Amino for an extended period of time as well if that at all counts as 'Leadership experience' to consider.
DO YOU HAVE EXPERIENCE IN CODING?: Here, I knew some back on the original site but I've basically been picking up most of it since I've arrived here. I pick up quickly and seem to be developing a rather large interest in setting up layouts for people! I'm still learning and wouldn't say I'm entirely fluent.
WHY WOULD YOU LIKE TO BE CONSIDERED?: It sounds like fun and I feel I could learn a lot more with experience especially in terms of design.
WHICH POSITION WOULD YOU LIKE TO BE CONSIDERED FOR?: Coding Team is my Goal for Now, I don't have enough confidence to go as far as Offsite Assistant.
TELL ME OF A TIME YOU HAD TO RESOLVE A SITUATION OF CONFLICT & THE STEPS YOU TOOK TO RESOLVE IT: Anytime at work I often have to resolve issues with people's medical insurance whether is simply a matter of a medication being filled too early or some data was inputted into the system incorrectly causing someone's insurance to decline the prescription to be filled all together. In my line of work as a Lead Pharmacy Technician I am always having to handle data management whether it be specific prescriptions or Pharmacy Inventory incoming or outgoing for not only my own sort but all the stores in my district. We had an issue with a medication that none of the stores have been able to receive for some time, and I needed to go into the inventory data of each individual store to see why these stores were not receiving the medication. Turns out there was a glitch in the system that forced the stores to have a outgoing shipment of the medication appear on their inventory screens that caused their vendors not to send the medication. So for each one I have to go in, delete the shipment, fix the number of tablets they had, and then reorder the medication to get it onto their shelves as soon as possible.
DO YOU OR HAVE YOU AT ANY TIME GONE INACTIVE WITHOUT WARNING: No not that I can think of, I usually try to give a little warning when I need some time off. [Usually it involves my exam schedule which I like to present well in advance.]
WHAT ARE YOUR IDEAS FOR THE OFFSITE, SHOULD YOU BE CHOSEN: Making it more aesthetically pleasing as a website people will want to use for coding/experimenting and doing more to encourage people to join. Maybe even doing some live tutorials through skype or something could be a possibility?

ACTIVITY ON SITE: I am on every day. Even if I'm not replying to a thread or message, I check the site every single day. My actual activity, however, tends to be focused more towards the end of weeks, and in the mornings on my work weeks. (I work every other week, night shift, which makes things screwy.)
WHAT DAYS ARE YOU MOST REGULARLY ACTIVE?: Wednesday-Saturday. Activity Sunday to Tuesday is iffy, since my weeks on start/end Monday, and it takes a bit to adjust. This is mostly just for rping. I can be active in Skype most days if I'm really needed.
HAVE YOU EVER HELD A MODERATOR OR ADMINISTRATOR POSITION BEFORE?: I've held mod twice as leader relatively recently. When I was leader of WaterClan & now currently as leader of SunClan. This is about 3 years of moderator experience between the two leaderships (the Water leadership lasted about a year and a half, but I was admin during that as well, and I'm still mod now, of course). I also was the Activity Administrator from July 23rd, 2016 to January 30th, 2017, almost exactly six months.
DO YOU HAVE EXPERIENCE IN CODING?: Yes, see Absum Lux & SunClan's layouts. Both were coded in html. My experience, however, is limited to the span of time we've been on ProBoards. I've only coded three layouts, (SC's original, AL's, and SC's current. The first SC layout used xx.sapphire's code almost exclusively, while the other two have built on my understanding of that code & new info I've learned.) No BBCode experience, but I'm hoping to at least learn the basics and play around with it.
WHY WOULD YOU LIKE TO BE CONSIDERED?: I don't have much experience, but honestly, coding is fun, and I love learning new tips and tricks and spending time researching issues I'm having, or special effects I'd like to learn. I really just want to keep learning and making things because I really enjoy it, tbh.

Following when I really dived back into things in 2014, no, I don't feel like I have. My activity has dipped, but I don't feel like I've ever been unreachable, as even when things happened to force me to take a break for a for a short while, or things like vacation, I have tried to let others know, and I don't intend to just up and disappear, barring me being utterly incapable of having a way to contact anyone.

ACTIVITY ON SITE: I get on everyday, even if I am not Rping. I spend time working on characters and such behind the scenes.
WHAT DAYS ARE YOU MOST REGULARLY ACTIVE?: It alternates because of my days off at work, but my activity throughout the week is fairly high regardless
