Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
In what was really a rather short amount of time, Kasdeya had gone from fugitive to Council member. Of course, no one in his adoptive family, not even Senescence, had seen to it that she was killed either, which said a lot. For what it was worth, Fang was curious. Not only because she would be working in close proximity to his own mate, Rubyflame, but also due to the fact that she was from the League.
He didn't exactly have negative memories of the place, given that he didn't mind their murderous tendencies, though he had ended up on the wrong side of Vera and lived to tell the tale, which was a miracle, really. The gray tom could still remember her catching him at that surveillance team meeting, threatening his life if Glowstar didn't give up control of the team to her. He still kicked himself over that particular failure. In the end though, Vera was gone, he was alive, and his family was okay. Aside from the brainwashing of his kits, which he was still having difficulties with.
"Hey, Kasdeya. Wanna go for a walk with me?" The tom put a paw to his mouth to cover his yawn. Though stronger than a majority of the clan, he was also one of the laziest by far. So the rumors said, anyway. Really, he just loved to sleep is all, he did what was asked of him well enough. Surprisingly long fangs peeked out from his jaws even when closed, orange gaze drifting slowly around the rest of camp while he waited for her answer.
Kasdeya looked over to the tom from where she had been staring into the distance, slightly distracted. She knew of Fang, knew they shared the job of Trailblazer, and had probably greeted him at some point. But she hadn't spoken extensively to him, and found herself curious about the other former League member. "Sure," she nodded, standing and stretching briefly.
She counted herself lucky that she hadn't been killed off either- she had somehow managed to convince Senescence and Lucistic that she was sincere in wanting to leave the League, and that she had no interest in ratting them out. It was luck, perhaps, that Senescence seemed so indifferent to what others did in the long run. It was probably why she wasn't dead now. Once they had cleared the camp entrance, she turned her mismatched gaze onto the other tom. "Did you want to talk about something in particular, or do you just want to be seen with me?" It was an attempt at humor, but any time that Kasdeya tried to be funny without being sarcastic, her voice came out weirdly tinny and flat.
