Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
Glowstar had swore to the apprentices that they would meet their spirit guides at dawn, but it was dusk now and the apprentices were all beginning to shut their eyes. Cricketpaw's spirit guide hadn't shown up like the others who came back telling tales of their first day out training. The full moon gathering was close and because of this the moon was especially bright, perhaps it was Cricketpaw's imagination, but he could notice that it hadn't been yellow a second ago.
Suddenly the shadows in the apprentices den began to stir, not like swaying branches, but like rats swarming and scattering in and out of the pale moonlight. All at once the shadows parted as a beautiful sleek white ragdoll she-cat entered the apprentices den. Her yellow eyes were motherly and burned bright as stars and while she was at an average warriors height the amount of fluffed up fur she had made her look twice as tall. Her smile was almost as delighted as a kits as her gaze leapt at the sight of him, "Well look at you," She said, her voice a sly playful whisper as to not wake up the rest of the apprentices, "You look everything I hoped you would be, I'm Yellowmoon, your spirit guide."

Dawn had come and gone and Cricketpaw had seen nothing of his spirit guide, he had begun to wonder if his guide was unhappy to be stuck training him, he was clumsy but his determination surly made of for it at least a little. His new denmates had all settled and he lay curled in his nest unable to sleep, he half closed his eyes and let out a soft sigh. The sudden whisper that filled his ears jolted his head upright and he wasn't sure if he was imagining it or if the white she-cat that stood before him was really there, her words confirmed to him who she was and he smiled.
"Hello Yellowmoon." He kept his voice low aware of the sleeping forms around him. "I thought you didn't want to help me, that you wouldn't come." He admitted his fear to her quietly, lowering his gaze afraid she would be angry he doubted she would come. His paws shuffled in his nest as he sat up.
"No, of course I did, but you see, I was actually spending all day hoping to find a better warrior suited for myself to take to training you, but it seems as though there aren't. I'm actually currently training the medicine cat apprentice, Brakewings so it looks as though I'll only have time to train you at night. I know, it's very annoying and I'm very sorry, but StarClan cats are busy too," She said sympathetically, "Anyways, allow me to introduce myself, I am Yellowmoon, I was medicine cat of WinterClan, but before that I actually was a warrior in WaterClan before they turned on me. How about yo introduce yourself, tell me a bit about you!"
The grey and white ragdoll sat down with a smile, she looked gentle and regal with sleek WaterClan fur, yet the thick fluffiness of a WinterClan cat.
Cricketpaw nodded in understanding, it would make sense that StarClan would be busy when they spent so much time looking after the cats down here. "I'm Cricketpaw, I have a sister but she is an emissary now. I-I'm kind of clumsy, so I am sorry if I mess things up." His clumsy nature always got in the way, it ruined his hunting and made it hard for him to match most cats in combat. He often feared he would be kept from being a warrior because of it. "I'm a hard worker though! I want to prove to my clan that I can be useful."
"All in good time," Yellowmoon promised, "Now how about we get a perfect hunting stance, I won't accept anything less, but I will be patient with you."
She swished her light grey tail for Cricketpaw to follow her, "We'll have to be very quiet," She whispered as she padded past camp in order to not disturb the cats and moved over towards Speckled Field. Once there Yellowmoon demonstrated a prowl and looked to Cricketpaw, "Now try to mimic my stance and I'll adjust you accordingly. Everyone needs some adjustments now and then after all."

(I totally thought I bookmarked this, but I didn't. I'm working on that.)
Cricketpaw nodded and followed the starry she-cat, keeping close watch of where he put each paw as they went. The last thing he wanted was to make a fool of himself before they even started. Carefully he watched her demonstrate what to do, but when it was his turn he hesitated a little before stepping forward. "Okay." he mewed simply. Slowly, he crouched down to the ground, his legs close to his body but not under it and his hind end a little high with his tail standing straight up. "Like this?"
"You look like a dog in a play stance," Yellowmoon said with a dull expression before pressing a paw to her forehead perking up with an idea, "Okay I got it."
She walked over to his side adjusting his stance while speaking, "You see Cricketpaw, I have much faith in you, StarClan sees greatness in you as a might warrior more so than a hunter. So I understand that hunting stances might not be particularly your thing."
Once she adjusted his stance she nodded to him that it was the correct position, "You see Cricketpaw, you're destined to be a hero, which is why I need to adjust you, make you more confident, powerful, charming even. Right now you're not ready, but that's why I'm here, but I can see your confidence just isn't there yet."
The fluffy she-cat padded across from him in thought before turning on her toes and facing him, "Would you agree with that statement?"

Cricketpaw lowered his gaze at her moment, did he really look like a dog. He shook his head and waited as she adjusted his stance into the correct position, closing his eyes he took in a deep breath letting his growing muscles flex and taking in the way they felt as he crouched holding it in his mind so he would be able to repeat it with ease next time. "A hero?" He looked up at Yellowmoon, he didn't see that happening. "I-i know I'm not confident, but I'm t-trying." His blue gaze hardened, he did agree with what she said, and he would work harder then any other to make his spirit guide proud.
"You're doing great already and trust me, being a hero will just come as naturally to you as nurture comes to a mother," Yellowmoon soothed, her tail rubbing down his spine, "Now then, I want you to pounce, claws out like it's the real deal. If you can pounce continuously for ten minutes straight, we'll be done with training for tonight and tomorrow I'll teach you about history as a nice relaxation day," She purred.
