Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
My name is Tanner. I'm 19 and I use he/him/his. I have been roleplaying for quite some time. I was a member on Classic for a very brief time back in the day, and I had just been looking over an old notebook that I had a character sheet on and it reminded me of the site. Proboards is a nice update! There isn't much interesting about me, I don't think, so making intro threads is a bit hard. I live alone, well sort of, I have two cats, and I like the song idontwannabeyou probably more than is appropriate. I really like conspiracy theories, and when I have free time, I'm generally watching a documentary on Amazon Prime about how we live under a shadow government. I seldom have any idea what is going on, and am a firm believer in acatalepsy, or the idea that it isn't possible to really understand much of anything. I'm a logophile, so I apologize in advance for my insistence on using words like acatalepsy and trouvaille. I really don't think I have anything else relevant about myself to say.
It's been a while since I've been on the site; could someone recommend clans to me?

As of right now I roleplay a lot in Primal Instinct so if you love dark rps (or at least rping severely misunderstood characters) then I recommend it! Other clans I love include Brookclan which is a monarchy (think game of thrones but only super bloody depending on the leader tbh). I also rp in Sunclan, AL, and RR currently!
Also I love Billie so much <333 She's such a queen like seriously I would die for her
TEAGAN, it is lovely to meet you! I used to roleplay a lot in Primal Instinct, so maybe I will add a cat there. BrookClan sounds interesting, but I've never gotten into the Game of Thrones? Would I need to have that sort of reference to be able to understand the group? We should definitely at least roleplay in Primal Instinct, or it looks like SunClan now has two votes, so I will add a cat there too! Billie really is just, ugh, would give my life for her. Her music videos are the most haunting things I've ever watched and god I love them.
INDIE, it's nice to meet you, too! Your username seems familiar, but it's been quite a while since I've been around these parts. I am kind of in love with the idea of making a cat that's part of a cult. That seems exactly up my ally, so I'll add some sort of cat there! Are they a group that's open to outsiders, or are they a group I should figure out a family for my cat? Also, I appreciate what you said about being a logophile! Sometimes people think I'm just trying to be pretentious, which I suppose isn't the most unfair assertion, but it's only like 40% pretentious and 60% just an absolute adoration of words haha.
Hello it's nice to meet you Tanner. You sound rather familiar to me, but I cannot place which account I may have known you on. I am Ocean/ Justin/ or J, I'm 20 years old and use they/them pronouns. I am currently Fallclan's leader and Primal Instinct's Shaman. I used to go by the username DrDream back in the 2015-2016 era and have been apart of Classic since 2008. So welcome back to Classic. I currently roleplay in Fallclan, Winterclan, Moonclan, Nightclan, Waterclan, Brookclan, Earthclan, Primal Instinct and Absum Lux. I have to recommend Fallclan, because well I became their leader last week and the clan is very precious to me. Currently Fallclan is going through a few changes right now and its bringing back some things that were lost when the site moved to Proboards, but other than that it will be the same old Fallclan that past members may remember. It will have a guide finished soon explaining the unique things that Fallclan can offer, along with information about their territory. Other clans that need love are dear to me are Winterclan, Moonclan, Earthclan, and Brookclan.

All of the clans are great, I've got cats in all but a few of them. SpringClan is also trying to pick up some activity if you would like to have some cats there to help out.

I've been here since 2010, so that might explain why I'm familiar? And SC's sorta open to outsiders through an initiation. If you want to make a warrior/senator, they were either born into the clan (with currently living/deceased family) or joined before they were twelve moons old, otherwise, if you wanted to make a character only just joining the clan that is a year or older, they have to go through initiation. If they're a kit/apprentice, they don't need to go through initiation and can just be added as that rank, except in certain cases up to the High Priestess' (leader's) discretion (like if they took over a clan, or if a cat comes from a clan they're at war with/suspicious of). c:
You can find all the information either on the SunClan Page, or the Guide page, and of course, I'm always down to explain anything that doesn't make sense.
Seriously, go forth with the fancy words. The more I can add to my vocabulary to use at random, the better. xD

Hi Tanner, it's nice to meet you. I'm StrawberryCupid/Bananice. I joined Wetpaint as *Bakuraluvr4evr* in 2010 and never changed it. I also like watching videos about conspiracy theories, though I haven't watched a lot. I'm in Dayclan, Winterclan, Waterclan, and Primal Instinct and I have a loner that'll bug anyone, so I'm open to rp with you wherever you go. Winterclan holds a special place in my heart, so I'd recommend there. I've also been liking Primal Instinct a lot recently.
JUSTIN, DrDeam feels familiar, I think! It's nice to meet again! I just added Carlotta-kun to Primal Instinct, so maybe we could roleplay there if you're the Shaman? She would absolutely hate needing help, so we could do a little situation where she needs to go to the Shaman for some assistance, totally against everything she is to stand for? That might be fun. I'll consinder FallClan, too, once things have changed!

I don't know that Odysseyfright would quite fit in there, so it'll be a brand new cat so it might take me a minute to make a bio, but that shall be the next one I attempt! I'll definitely read into the Initiation, too, because that feels like it would be a fun plotline for my cat, trying to get him to pass the initiation. I think mine is the oldie that we are run by lizards. It just really amuses me to think that all of the leaders of the world go home and unzip their human suits and I can't explain why. hi tanner!! welcome to classic, it's so lovely to meet you! ♥ my name's fox or kate, i'm 21, she/her pronouns, and i was a super active member of the old wetpaint sites back in 2009-about 2011, but i was rarely on classic c: you sound like exactly my kinda person and i can't wait to rp with you once you get some characters sorted!! i LOVE conspiracy theories - i got addicted to this site called unexplained mysteries back in january and i spent literally entire work days just glued to it, though admittedly i was more into the cryptozoology/urban legends/ghosts forums, because i absolutely love horror and spooky things ♥
at the moment, i rp mostly in winterclan, dayclan and primal instinct, and i'm the deputy of summerclan so like, obviously come join us over there c: summerclan is a much more traditional, canon-compliant clan, with a few fun twists, and it's very warm and accepting, if you're looking for a more gentle place to put a cat ♥ either way, we should definitely plot something once you're up and running! c:

I do have cats in SpringClan and in the process of getting some more done, so far i have some warriors and apprentice and a kit. SpringClan is recently under new leadership so hopefully with a little push start we can get some excitment started for them.

Though you can also call me Meredith, (it's my real name that I use on skype cause I'm a dingus who forgets to change it so I might as well just introduce myself using it anyways XP).
Glad to have you back! I was a roleplayer back in '08, '09 and I might've popped in 2010? I can't remember it's been a while. Funnily enough I joined back up in 2017 and have been glad to be back! It's definitely a lot of fun now that a lot of the roleplayers have grown and our roleplaying has grown as well.
NightClan's always welcome to new members, and we have a system of adopting cats into families. So even if you don't want to make a cat who's lived in NightClan your whole life, other cats can vouch for your cat joining the ranks, by adopting them into their family (as their sibling/child/mate etc. Burningstar's very much a family oriented leader and she wants to welcome outsiders in the big family that lives in the dark that is NightClan XP).
But I also recommend SunClan and DayClan. SunClan is a lot of fun with their cult mindset and Foxstar's cunning at the front. And DayClan's got Glowstar who is glorious, and a lot of fun cats that makes it fun.
KATE, It's a pleasure to meet you! Cryptozoology? Another thing that I spend too much time exploring? God, I just want Mothman to pick me up and take me on a journey through the sky. Is that weird? Is that gay? good thing I am so it doesn't really matter if it is. I'll have to check that site out, because that sounds like something right up my alley! Anything spooky or horror-ish is beautiful. I have a weird obsession with creepy pastas, too? Like that's so 2011 but ? God they are so good.
I actually just added Odysseyfright to SummerClan. He's a bi boy but really he's going to end up to be just my gayest character probably because I just can see him with a soft boy boyfriend honestly. SummerClan seemed like a place he would fit in nicely. We should roleplay there!
SAVANNAH, Okay, then let's rp there! I think I'll make a kitten, just because I don't have a kitten so far, and I like taking them from kitten to adult! Maybe we could do either a kitten rp or an rp where my kitten bothers the heck out of one of your older cats?
JET, Yeah, I bet about the rping! I'm excited to do some rping that isn't like "Blacktoe flicked his tail and said Hi!" NightClan sounds like it would be lovely to re-join! Ironic enough, it was the first group I ever joined all those years ago. How does one go about finding a family to be adopted into? The plot possibilities there seem really good, and I'd love to try something like that!
All you have to do is ask XP I've got several cats and families that are open to adopting into their family. But the best bet is usually to form a plot for your outsider to befriend/fall in love/be adopted by one of the current NightClan members to be able to join. Otherwise you can just ask me and I can set you up
I'll also be making some adoptables soon so you'll be able to take one of those too!

You don't really need to know game of thrones to be a part of Brookclan! Here is an easy guide!

It really is. I was kinda surprised at first, but it's nice getting to reconnect after all this time. I'm a fan of Polybius. Something about the military training us with video games is just so creepy and amusing. I have Brilliance-chan in PI. She's a good cat, just naturally talented and intimidating. Whenever you're ready we can.
