Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
Lucistic shook his head. No... Something gnawed at him deep in his bones, something wasn't right. He watched as the fire burned, blazed, and slowly simmered out, but still, something was wrong. He watched the surviving henchmen flee, but that wasn't it either. Let them escape with their lives, but not their dignity. With a steady breath of air and hopeful optimism he began to paw at the burnt ant hill until he found it. One ant. One ant that lived. The evil queen. Suddenly her wings launched out, but Lucistic could only gasp as she flew off.
"MEW MEW MEOW MEOW MEOW MEOW MEMOOOWWW!" Lucistic hollered, which of course was Woem for, after her!
Oh dear lord. Not again. Don't let this turn into another adventure like in 2011. She hadn't thought anything of it when Lucistic asked her to help protect some turtles from danger, only to end up roping her along on some dastardly adventure where they had to stop the pirate ducks intent on ruling the seven seas of pond water. And somewhere, along the way, some swans had come along as the missing duck parents and everything had just gone downhill from there. Mittens shivered. She still had nightmares about those swans.
"Meow," Mittens said as enthusiastically as she could while mentally cataloging all her escape routes. But— Drat! There were none! At least no excuses that Lucistic would believe. "Meow!" said Mittens in her best battle cry voice which really was the equivalent of a mouse squeaking, and off she trotted after the evil ant queen. Rawr! Fear the Mittens!
... Please don't let this be another swan infestation.
"MEOW MEOW!" Lucistic yowled in a bigger battle cry and bolted off like a streak of black lightning all the while humming a dramatic tune dn dn dn dnd dn dn dnnnn dn dn dn dn DN DN. DN DN.
That's when he spotted the Evil Ant Queen. His acid green gaze narrowed. The queen hovered in the air, BZZ BZZ BZZ BZZ.
Lucistic's ears flattened. Oh no. No no no no. NO. What was that?
Mittens could only watch as Lucistic was engulfed in a swarm of bees, but before he was completely shadowed by them he managed to scream, "MEW MEOW" it's a trap!!!
"Meow!" Mittens yelled. Run! And then thought of something. "Meow meow meow!" Not towards me! Somewhere else! Because honestly, if that lunatic of a cat led a swarm of bees at her, Mittens was gonna have some serious words with him and his mother. But just before Mittens could dive for cover, there! At the edge of her vision! The evil ant queen! Its eyes were engulfed with malice, a need for vengeance that could only be quenched with blood. And Mittens stared in horror as the evil ant queen dived at her. "Meow!" Mittens screamed because No! This wasn't how she wanted to die! Not by ants! And— Mittens threw a glare at Lucistic. "Meow meow!" This is all your fault! Seriously. This is the last time she's following one of his crazy schemes.
His friend, his soul mate, she was like the sister he never had closely in his life! He wasn't about to let the evil ant queen have her. She would never have Mittens. With a battle cry that could make heaven shatter he leapt at the evil aunt queen and with one chomp managed to swallow the evil ant queen whole. The day was saved. Or was it?
BZZ BZZ BZ BZZ.
"Oh... Heh, Sorry Mittens..." Lucistic said sheepishly at the hive swarmed at them.
