Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
Standing in front of his clan with the attention on him made his coat prickle, and he wished he had taken a moment to straighten up his scrawny coat, but it was too late now. He took a deep breath to quell the quiver beginning in his chest and stepped forward to begin. Cats had died and left during the time Riverstar had become leader, leaving quite a few apprentices in need of new mentors, and other ceremonies had been delayed so there was a wealth of kits to apprentice. As the formal ceremony ran on and on he grew a little more comfortable, but as he turned to face the last two cats he needed to promote, his nerves returned. Skylerpaw was the first apprentice he would ever make a warrior, the first name he'd ever assign -- but it felt right. As Chim spoke the words to make him Skyleraroma, warrior of WaterClan, he could almost feel his past mate's pelt brush against his own, and imagined he could hear the old tom's soft hum of approval at the name his grandson was given.
Finally he turned to Tinybreath with a short, respectful nod. "Thank you for looking after Swangrace's kits, Tinybreath. You are free to return to your senior warrior duties if you wish."
PROMOTIONS: if you're a mentor, please make a training thread c: or tuskblood will sit on you and eat your bones probably since we have like, almost as many apprentices as warriors most warriors are mentors, apologies if you ended up with multiple apprentices c'x the one time small clans don't rock

Nightwing's face filled with delight as he watched his excited apprentice approach him. The tom would not deny his reputation within the clan, he always enjoyed supporting the growth of the young and wished to do nothing more than insure their happiness. He remembered playing with Jinxkit as a little one, and would only feel his heart swell with pride knowing he was now her mentor.
"I promise to help you grow into one of the best cats WaterClan has ever seen" he spoke softly, touching noses with the little she-cat.
