Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
A pair of earthy optics scanned the boarder of the League's territory away from the Clans. For the prospect of facing death today, Azura appeared serene and composed, yet ruffled and disgruntled. Her time in the Coalition during her kithood perfected the look, and she was using it again to hopefully convince the League to take her in. Her life in DayClan disappeared on her way to the League. As helpful as Glowstar was, she could learn much more from the League. The League's cats walked with confidence and power. She wanted to do just that, and was willing to give up some of her humanity for it. The cliche that power is fleeting was clearly false. Fleeting power did change politics, wars, or minds. It was true power that did so, something to be revered. She wanted such power at any cost, and the League was the next stop on the list.

Carlotta-kun blinked in surprise as she caught the crosswind of an unfamiliar scent coming near the border. An intruder? Was this the moment she had been training for, her first chance to kick some tail? She let out a soft noise, one that, in retrospect, she probably shouldn't of if she was trying to sneak up on the cat. Was she really trying to sneak, though? After all, this was her territory. Her tail flicked, before she approached the border. There was no sign that a cat had actually crossed it, it didn't seem. Wow, disappointing, a part of her wanted to mutter, but just as she considered it, her gaze landed on another she-cat. Her head tilted at the sight. She couldn't have been much older than Carlotta herself, she didn't think, but she looked so calm.... Huh, interesting.
"Cats who come 'round here and sit on our borders generally are cats with a death wish," she meowed in her strange drawl. "You lookin' to die today? It's fine if you are, that could be fun."
Azura could not take this cat seriously with her little speech. She broke down in laughter for a second and pounded her paws into the earth. She shook her head and looked into the young cat's eyes. "Hmmm, you must have had that one prepared for awhile, right?" The she-cat sauntered along the boarder and sighed. "I mean, I can see how it would have sounded good in your head, but listen to yourself."
If this she-cat was the prime example of a League cat, then the she-cat considered herself fooled. It was good theater, but beyond that it was nothing. She settled down again in front of Carlotta-kun. "So, do you wanna give this another go? I'm not impressed."

Carlotta-kun felt her eye twitch. Who on earth did this cat think she was? A fury rose within her, ignighted by the fact that this stranger was so dismissive of her. Carlotta-kun had plenty of experience being dismissed as a non-threat, and every time it happened, she felt herself get angrier and angrier. This anger had bubbled under the surface perhaps since she was first told she would never amount to much. There was only so much bubbling that could happen prior to an explosion, right? Carl's eye twitched once again, before she gave into just a fraction of that anger. She didn't want to explode, she had to train later and she didn't know how to explain to the Warden that she had a body count for the day already. She would have to be careful, then.
Carlotta's paw slapped the other cat's face, claws unsheathed in the blow. It was a quick motion, one that was delivered with all of the force the eight month old could muster from her forearm.
"Excuse me?" she meowed as soon as her arm retreated back to her side. "I don't know what in the world you think this is, cat, but surely we have some different expecations on how this interaction is going to go. Remember who is at who's border, hmm?" Her voice almost trilled into a do you know who I am, but that wasn't going to be too effective, she didn't think. "Maybe you should give it another shot. And if that's not your cuppa, I suggest you run your ass back to whatever hole you crawled out of real fast, get me?"
She knew she had struck a nerve. The little twitch in the young cat's eyes was all she needed to see. Her short fuse amused Azura, but she could still relate. Her own anger exploded rather quickly, but Carlotta's was just a new level. It took a random stranger simply dismissing her to set off a very visible chain reaction in her mind. The wise one would take a step back upon seeing such unbridled anger, but Azura never made the smartest move in the moment.
Azura expected the claws to rake across her face as much as she did not. As angry as Carlotta was, she certainly was smart enough to not piss off a cat bigger than you when there's no backup in sight. Apparently, her first instinct was right. She moved back just enough so that Carlotta's flying claws just barely scratched the surface of her skin. "Oh, I see." She licked her new wound and tasted the metallic flavor of blood. "Yeah, no. This is your border. Defend it. I'm not getting outta here because you feel insulted that I don't like your little theatrics. "
The she-cat truly did not want to harm this young cat. Carlotta's arrogance would make it a short but nasty fight. Azura didn't have to find herbs to dress her wounds after such a fight. Instead she opted for a quick stretch. As she leaned back on her hind legs she let her head dip for a moment to reveal a semicircular scar across her lower neck.
