Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
"Young? My boy, they don't let just anyone into the elders den. But I'll take that as a compliment that I still look good, otherwise, I'd be boxing you across the ears!" Daisyfeather knew eh was newer to the clan, he didn't understand everything. But still! The nerve of the tom!
Amberkit stepped forward, lined up with his siblings. It was happening whether he liked it or not.
"You are all of age, past it, to become apprentices. Each of you shall now be known as Amberpaw, Wildpaw, Frostpaw, and Graypaw respectively. Earthwalker, you will you mentor Amberpaw (@oceanix ). Frostpaw shall be mentored by Coalsplash (lost ). Graypaw by Cutthroat (Whitemuzzle ). Wildpaw by Celestialglow (Spot ). Finally, Pondpaw, you shall be mentored by Cedarberry.” That covered everyone.
(if these mentor/apprentice can't work for whatever reason let me know please!)
Pondpaw's lip curled and the gray-and-white small tom glared up at the leader. His mentor was Solsticestar and he didn't want another one. He had grown to clash with her often, she was stubborn and doubted him and tried to control him, but the fiery young tom had no interest in listening to any cat other than her. He had his dream-mentor, and that was good enough for him; he didn't need anyone else. He didn't even look at Cedarberry as he turned to sulk off.

Cedarberry blinked in surprise as he pushed past the on looking cats towards his new apprentice, the older tom seeming surprised to have been assigned a young cat like Pondpaw. This cat was well known for his stubborn attitude and lack of respect towards authority... what was their leader thinking giving Cedarberry Pondpaw as his first apprentice? He was not certain how to judge taking care of Pondpaw's training, but he knew he had to do his best not to disappoint the tom after losing his last mentor.
"Pondpaw hold on," Cedarberry called as he finally managed to catch up. Surprisingly enough the tom didn't bother scolding him, in fact he actually appeared concerned, "Are you doing alright? You left the ceremony in quite a hurry..."
