Squirrelpool's paws drifted across the marshy territory aimlessly. While her body was physically in the clan, she felt like she was in a completely different place. Her mind wandered like a breeze over the water. Ripples of thoughts and worries distracted her. The reeds clung to her grey and white coat as she danced through them. It had not been long since her kits were born. Luckily, Bluestream had offered to watch them while she went out. She felt like she was going to suffocate in the Nursery. Her breath came out as a sigh as she stopped by a pond and glanced down at her reflection. "It's time to start wallowing in your pity, you daft furball." She told herself with a small, unsure laugh. She longed for her old self to return, but it wouldn't be as easy as she wanted. There were several things she had to do first.
A splash heralded Marinaheart catching a frog. The she cat struggling briefly to put it down, before it slipped free of her claws.
The gray she cat hissed after it before getting to her paws, flicking off some of the muddy water off her paws and fur huffing in annoyance. She turned to go look for more prey when she almost crashed into Squirrelpool. “Watch where you’re going!” She hissed crossly, drawing back narrowing her eyes at Squirrelpool

Squirrelpool's eyes widened and she stepped away from Marinaheart in a hurry. "I am so, so sorry!" She exclaimed, clearly ruffled by the presence of another cat. There was no way that she couldn't hear the other warrior coming, but somehow she still missed it. "I didn't scare your prey away, did I?" Her worried eyes glanced past Marinaheart to the frog that was frantically hopping away to it's hole.
