Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
He'd been hearing strange rumors about... well, about a StarClan cat wandering in his territory. He wasn't sure he could believe that but his cats seemed convinced and who was he to disagree with their vivid descriptions? His brother even claimed he'd met this ghost, that it was their grandfather, because of course Chim couldn't catch a break, couldn't be leader for even a few days before his family started dropping by to judge him. Just what he needed.
"Come on, now. If you're here for a reason it's about time you tell me and stop doing... whatever it is you've been doing," Chim demanded sharply. The leader stood alone by the river, his eyes closed like that would make the spirit appear sooner, his breaths even and impatient. Vulcan better be around here somewhere and not just mocking him, he was so not going down as the leader that talked to thin air.
"But it's so fun to watch my grandson make a fool of himself." The tom quite literally peeked his head out of the tree next to Chimerastar, his face just barely visible past the bark. Any passerby would probably just think the leader had gone mad and was talking to a tree. Which was fine with Vulcan. Dying had been the best thing of his life, ironically. On one hand, the lack of control was rather annoying. On the other, he never needed to worry. He could pretty much do whatever he wanted, and no one could say anything. Well, StarClan might have a few choice words, but it was all harmless fun, really.
He opened his eye at the voice and nearly did a double take to see a head protruding unnaturally from the tree. That would take some time to get used to-- far more time than he wanted to spend around most cats, especially Vulcan. "And I'm sure you'll have an even better view from StarClan. Or the Dark Forest, wherever you ended up, I really couldn't say." He narrowed his eye. "Which, correct me if I'm wrong, is where you should be. Your time wandering around here is done."
