Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
(It literally took me like 10 minutes to think of a name for this thread and that's all I came up with lol)
Fallenpaw had woken with a start his dream of chasing mice ending with him jumping into a dark abyss that startled the tom back into the waking world, he shook the dream from his mind and gazed around the apprentices den where everyone still lay curled up and sleeping. With heavy paws he lifted himself up and left the den only just realizing how early it was, the sun still hid beneath the horizon a small pale gray glow just starting to form a line in the distant sky and above his head the moon lit the clearing in calm light. Fallenpaw let out a sigh and sat down to groom his moss covered pelt, he knew he wouldn't be able to find sleep again so he sat and cleaned his long pelt listening the the silent breathing of his sleeping clan.
A green-blue eye peeked open at the movement of her brother leaving the den on heavy paws. She stretched on her nest of moss, her claws unsheathing as she felt her muscles stretch and bones pop. She stood, shaking the moss from her pelt and slipping outside and into the pale morning light. The dawn patrol would be heading out soon for the day, but for now, it was just Dapplepaw and her brother. She sat down beside him and licked his cheek, her eyes bright despite just waking up from a deep sleep. "Bad dream?" She asked him, licking the tortoiseshell fur of her chest flat.

Fallenpaw paused from his cleaning as his sister appeared beside him and purred at her comforting lick, he always felt lighter when his sister was near. His blue eyes clouded slightly as the dream returned to him and he shook his head to push the darkness away. "Yeah, it was dumb. I feel like a kit for letting it get to me the way it did." He gave his chest a few licks and looked at Dapplepaw. "Do you want to go for a walk?" He wanted to get out of camp and since they had become apprentices the two siblings didn't get to spend as much time together unless it was for training.
She smiled at him knowingly, and amusement shown in her eyes at the mention of feeling like a kit. She still always felt like a kit. "I'd love to go on a walk," she said, standing, her tail waving excitedly. "It'd be nice to get out in the forest once in a while and not be bossed around by our mentors," she laughed as she led the way toward the camp entrance. She slipped out and into the forest, looking out at the sun as its orange and gold light filtered through the heavy-leaved trees around them.

Fallenpaw smiled and stood up following his sister out of camp, he relished the feeling of the still cold earth beneath his paws and the dying night breeze that was pushing through his long orange coat. "Lets go to the lake, if we are fast enough we can catch a last glimpse of the night sky reflecting in it." He stood at Dapplepaws side and nudged her shoulder with his own, careful not to push too hard against her smaller frame.
"Did you say you want to race to the lake?" Dapplepaw asked, her ears perked as a mischievous glimmer crossed her blue-green eyes. She knew perfectly well that her brother said nothing about a race, but the little apprentice laughed loudly and took off at top speed, her legs flying as fast as they could, carrying her across the forest floor. The fresh air filled her lungs as she streaked beneath the low hanging branches and underbrush the scattered the territory. The smell of the lake filled her senses as she grew closer.

Fallenpaw stood for a moment surprised as his sister took off in a full sprint toward the lake, he let out a rumbling purr and chased after her. "No fair! You caught me off guard."He called to her amusement ringing in his voice, he knew he could catch up to her easily his longer legs would close the gap in moments. Fallenpaw lengthened his stride until he was running at Dapplepaws side, his sides heaving and lungs burning as he made for the lake. "I thought you wanted to race?" He purred between breaths and darted ahead of her, he was not small enough to fit between or under some of the obstacles in his path his only option was to go around or jump them.
While her brother was too large to fit through the smaller spaces, Dapplepaw flew through them with ease, a deep purr in her throat. Adrenaline pumped through her legs and her heart, her breath heavy but stinging in a way that felt like freedom as she dashed toward the lake. The smell of water was growing closer to them. "It's only fair I get a head start," she shouted back at him, small bursts of speed propelling her forward as they ran neck and neck once again. "I don't have legs the size of a fox tail!"
Fallenpaw let out a snort as his paw hit a stone in his path, he stumbled but ungracefully managed to regain his balance before falling to the ground he kept running though now he was a tail length or two behind his sister. "My legs aren't that long! Yours are just short." He let out an amused laughed and gently nudged Dapplepaw with his shoulder as he caught up to her once again, being sure not to knock her over.
Dapplepaw's ears dipped back as her brother stumbled. She looked back but felt free to breathe again as she saw him regain his balance and pick up speed as he raced after her. She grinned when he nudged her, "They're normal!" She shot back with a laugh. Her attention on her brother's safety took her attention off of the lake that they were coming up on, and she only remembered when she felt her paws leave the ground. She let out a shrill squeal as she topped forward and dived head first into the water's edge.
Too focused on his sister and the slight embarrassment from stumbling Fallenpaw had not realized they were so close to the lake, the sound of his sisters squeal the only indication as she fell forward and splashed into the waters edge. He skidded to a stop and looked down at her for a moment before rushing to her side. "Are you alright?" He leaned down and sniffed her pelt, wet with chilly drops of water. "I didn't know you liked water so much." He let out a snort of laughter and licked the top of her head in an attempt to dry it.
"You didn't?" Dapplepaw snorted water out of her burning nose, her tortoiseshell pelt plastered against her tiny, thin frame. When her brother reached down to lick the top of her head, Dapplepaw grinned and wrapped her paws around his neck and she pulled him down into the water, head first. She pushed him beneath the water and swam a rabbit hop away, giggling uncontrollably as he came back up to the surface. "I thought we both loved to swim!"
