Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
Devilhorns had put it off for so long that it took his aching body failing giving out on him to send him to the elders den. The old tom had started feeling the pains a few weeks ago, and instead of going to the medicine cats, he powered on. He's a stubborn old tom, one that refused to admit he was getting old. Well, now he had too. Dragging his nest, for he refused to allow anyone else to help him move it, Devilhorns began his move to the elders den. He was upset about it, frustrated more than anything. But before he could get much further than just outside of the warriors den, his knee gave out on him. Grumping, "good for nothing knee."
Timberfrost entered the camp from a successful hunting trip just in time to see Devilhorns attempting to drag his nest from the warrior's den and towards what seemed to be the elder's den. Only a few feet away from the warrior's den, the older tom's knee seemed to give out on him and Timberfrost rushed over to help him. "Here let me do it for you."
"No, no, I've got it. I'm not some old man who can't do it himself." He was far too stubborn for his own good, even if it would be better to allow another to do it for him. Devilhorns slowly rose back to his paws, limping slight, and grabbed ahold of his nest.
“Then at least let me help with half of it.” Timberfrost insisted. He moved to take up the other side of the nest and hoped the old Tom wouldn’t argue with him more.
"Fine." The tom was already helping so no point making a scene trying to get rid of him, so Devilhorns allowed him to help, even if he wasn't happy with it. He wasn't happy with the move in general. He was still young, darn it! Had a few good ears still in him to help the clan he now called home.
