Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. THE STORY
PROFESSOR IS A SOUL WHO IS DEDICATED TO LEARNING AND TEACHING. She knows a little bit about everything, information that she acquired through moons of travel and learning. In her endeavors, she has collected a small group of followers. Most of these cats she found, or even rescued, in their formative years, and they have since, they have never left her side. They would do whatever Professor asked of them, and when a cat tries to harass, threaten or question her, these cats quickly try to put a stop to it. Other cats find this sect of Absum Lux strange and cult-like, which is saying a lot, seemingly as the Coalitiion overall has some cult-like vibes. The group is very close, and each cat values their individual relationship with Professor. Each one wants to be Professor's favorite, which can make the group of them rather competitive. Each cat also has their own special interest, which makes their individual time together special. When the group is together, though, they each try to convince the others that their interest is more important.
THE CHARACTERS
PROFESSOR roleplayed by IAN a long legged black she-cat, whos furs have slowly become tinged grey with age. she is a magnificently intelligent feline, one who has very particular opinions on the world around her. she believes in complete autonomy, and often times wanders away from the coalition. from a young age, she was ostracized for the fact that she was a slow learner when it came to tyro training. to make up for this, she dedicated her life to learning everything she possibly could. as much as her brood of cats is protective over her, professor is deeply parental and protective to each of them.
ZALIA roleplayed by __ a petite blonde she-cat with hazel eyes, one who often times is assumed to be the youngest cat of the group. this is simply not true. zalia was the first cat that professor found, and the only cat that joined professor's side when she was fully grown. zalia is the only cat of the group who has romantic feelings towards professor, but she won't admit it, at least not yet. (it could be a fun plot if zalia acts upon it) she and professor often discuss the other cats of the little group, as professor trusts zalia to get the younger cats to open up to her more than professor herself. zalia takes her interest in social studies, particularly the politics of international and personal relations.
DEMITRI roleplayed by __ a pure black tom with bright green eyes. he is an inquisitive sort, one who is very flamboyant in his mannerisms. he is a gossip, one who always wants to know exactly what is going on. demitri has an interest in philosophy and religion. he constantly wonders about the human condition, and enjoys learning about the eight religions of the forest. demitri was the second to come to the group, and he was found at four moons old as a bullied runt who had been abandoned by his parents. although he would die for his chosen family, he is the least loyal to the group and most friendly to those outside.
RENO roleplayed by __ a boy with an interest in poison. if his interests were to also include healing, perhaps he would be the kind of cat who would enjoy a medicinal role in a group. however, he has no interest in saving. he is the scientist of the group, one who performs sadistic experiments on prey and those who end up on his bad side. perhaps this takes root in the fact that aisling is a former lab cat, one who's own body had been used for science. he is a large tabby with hazel eyes that always look jaded. he very seldom interacts with those outside of the group.
REMI roleplayed by FOX a dilute calico who loves stories. she desires to know everything she can about the histories of the world around her, and spends her time with professor learning the stories of the cats around her. remi is a bold cat who will stop at nothing to get the information that she wants. she's a bit manipulative and flirtatious, but she really means no harm by it. remi was once named remilla, and she was once a soldier of the regime. however, she doesn't do particularly well with strict orders. she joined absum lux mostly becuase it was the closest place after she left the regime, and had been assigned to be professor's tyro. remi is a wild child and a free spirit, one who likes to make history as much as learn it.
AISLING roleplayed by HINATA the only member of the little family who didn't come into the group through professor herself. aisling had been a loner with a hard life, one riddled with homophobic violence and general abuse from her father. yet, she had been too afraid to leave. that was when she met zalia, the first she-cat she fell in love with. slowly, she started to open up to zalia, and one night, aisling managed to say too much about the situation at home. suddenly, zalia informed professor that they needed to go rescue aisling, and so they did. aisling is a very bright she-cat who's interested mostly in the psychology of other cats. although she herself very rarely talks about her feelings, she has learned both through her innate nature and the teaching of professor to be a therapist-type feline. she is a confidant to all that need her, but most importantly zalia. aisling is the only cat who knows of zalia's romantic love for professor. professor also has a very big soft spot for her
SPECIAL RELATIONSHIPS zalia x professor zalia is in love with professor. it is unclear if professor feels the same. it is completely up to the roleplayer if zalia ever says anything to professor about her feelings. zalia is one of professor's two favorites, though.
aisling x zalia aisling is in love with zalia, who is her best friend. the two are very close. zalia trusts aisling with her life, and vice versa. aisling struggles when zalia confesses that she has feelings for professor, but grins and bears it because she wants to support zalia in all possible ways.
aisling x professor professor has a soft spot for aisling and is incredibly protective over her. professor is perhaps too parental over aisling, which aisling can either find annoying or endearing.
remi x reno over time, remi has worn down reno, who is guarded even to the small family. they are incredibly close, and it would be fun if they ended up in love, but i don't wanna like force that. she makes him soften, and he encourages a more serious side to her.
demitri x remi they fan each others flames when it comes to their wild spirit.
