Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
She made a promise to Glowstar. Twistedecho wasn't supposed to go near the borders, especially those with SunClan, but she couldn't help it. Normally she wouldn't want to go so near to her former home, but she wanted to come here so badly. She had to see the White Tree in bloom, with the vibrant colors of greenleaf as its backdrop. Sure, she could've asked another cat to accompany her, but it wasn't easy. She still felt certain there was a risk with every cat, unsure if there was anyone she could truly trust from the Clan that had, not quite willingly, adopted her. She had thought she had left fear of her own Clanmates behind in SunClan, but instead it only followed her for another reason. It felt nice to be alone for a while. She was used to solitude, having practically grown up a Janus, separated from the Clan in her studies in how to be a Priestess or Soothsayer. She gave a sharp shake of her head. She didn't want to think about that. She'd much rather forget she'd ever lived in SunClan in the first place. At the very least, she had enough sense to not just sit at the tree's roots, easily visible to any passing cat from either side of the border. She wanted to lose herself in the white petals anyways, and so climbing the branches to settle amongst the delicate flowers was an obvious decision. She breathed in the scent of the flowers before giving a soft, relieved sigh, focusing more on trying to enjoy the moment for once than on her surroundings.
"I like to go up there, too, sometimes," Bobbie called up softly, her voice dreamy as a midsummer wind. She stood just on the other side of the border, looking up at Twistedecho with a sombre sort of gentleness. "It's certainly a pretty view, and in springtime you can hear the baby birds chirping." She closed her eyes. "Listen, you can hear them now."
After a moment, she opened her eyes and padded closer to the roots of the tree, just stepping over the SunClan boundary. "But there's no shame in hiding, if that's what you're doing, and, if you wanted a bit of company, I need some more flowers anyway." What did she need the flowers for? Most likely even she wasn’t entirely certain — she simply knew that she needed them.
If it weren't for moons of practice, the ruddy-furred warrior might've fallen from the tree in her surprise when an unknown voice spoke up. As it was, she simply dug her claws into the branch she was perched upon, eyes flashing open to look down towards Bobbie. She quickly relaxed, though. She might not know any car besides Glowstar at all personally, but she knew about everyone in the Clan. She recognized Bobbie. And even if she hadn't, Bobbie was the sort of cat she was confident she could hold her own against.
She cast a glance over towards SunClan territory, making sure there weren't any cats from the rival Clan nearby attracted by Bonnie's voice. Only once she confirmed that nothing - at least for now - waited on the far side of the border did she respond to her Clanmate properly. "Don't worry, I'm not ashamed of hiding," she said, crossing over forepaw over the other as she spoke. "I'd rather hide than be caught by them." Her voice dropped a little as she went on, tail flicking towards the border on 'them'. "I suppose company of a Clanmate can't hurt, though," she added with a shrug, planning her head on her crossed paws. She regarded Bobbie for a moment, debating for a moment before she asked, "What do you need more flowers for, though, hm?"
