News & Updates
11.06.2022 The site has been transformed into an archive. Thank you for all the memories here!
Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
The Immortal Council are the deputies of the clan and have two extra lives. There are four Immortal Council members total, Eternallaughter, Rubyflame, and Windchaser, now we need a fourth.
What you need to know! - This is not a staff position, this is a rp position - In rp the council are treated as deputies of DayClan - You will need to make 6 replies a week in DayClan, but can of course have vacation/ grace weeks
- This cat can be an apprentice or older and doesn't need to be clan born
- Anyone can tryout!
I'm looking for good activity in DayClan, a unique character, and a creative member of Classic!

Kasdeya With a name of a demon, Kasdeya holds all the turmoil and complexity that one would expect from a fallen angel. The first thing that one notices about Kasdeya is her unique appearance- coating her wiry frame is a coat of cream fur, with a gray tail tip, one gray ear tip, and a gray semi-circle on her cheeks and underneath her chin. Her eyes are both brilliantly colored, one a fiery orange, and one a sapphire blue with a large brown birthmark. Tall, lean, and elegant, the way Kasdeya moves is smooth and bewitching. This she-cat was born in Primal Instinct to two parents who deserted, and were killed for it. Her younger sister was the runt of the litter, and was killed according to the laws of the time. Kasdeya grew up among Vera's reign, completely alone in the cutthroat League, and survived at great cost to her morality. A self-preservationist, warped to fit the black heart of the League, Kasdeya has a brittle outer shell. Most of her life was spent on the defensive, and she grew antagonistic, biting, brutal and clever as a result. Despite never knowing any other life, she eventually fled Primal Instinct and joined Dayclan. It was hardly an easy transition. Scarred from her time in the League, Kasdeya still struggles to make friends, preferring instead to trust herself rather than be hurt by others. She struggles with the ideals of Dayclan, not quite understanding true selflessness and kindness. Trained among League cats, Kasdeya is a fearsome opponent in battle, preferring to fight dirty and maim viciously. She remains somewhat untouchable- desperately craving affection while simultaneously not trusting anyone enough to let them close. She often feels she is undeserving of the second chance she's been given- she was hardly an innocent, honorable character when she left the League, and she feels like she isn't adapting well to Dayclan. Despite her touchiness, Kasdeya has found a sense of loyalty to her new clan, letting herself change bit by bit, and trust inch by inch. Character Image Link
How would they interact with the other council members and Glowstar? Glowstar is a former PI cat, as is Kasdeya, which would definitely be an interesting dynamic! She's already run into Wanderingwight and Leucisticcrow, whom she knows from her time in the League. Rubyflame and Eternallaughter are both survivors, and examples of what Kasdeya wants to be but thinks she can't. She'd interact with all of them, and Windchaser, in about the same way. She's trying hard to be civil and cordial, but she has a lot of her sarcasm and prickliness still. She wouldn't question their decisions publicly or disobey orders, but she can be a bit vocally challenging and unsympathetic. She'd definitely add flavor to any of their meetings, haha.
What are your favorite type of rp genres? I'm honestly down for anything! I do have a preference for roleplays that challenge my character emotionally or physically, and don't stay at a shallower level, but I believe that can happen in all genres of roleplay. I am a bit of a sucker for a lengthy, dramatic love story though I also love confrontations, physical fighting, and funny scenarios.
Is your character Good/ Chaotic Good/ Neutral/ Morally Grey/ Evil/ Anarchist: goes to read the alignment chart
Kasdeya is a true neutral, at least for the time being. She fled the evil of PI, but mostly for her own mental health. She likes the atmosphere of Dayclan, but she struggles to act as warm and kind. She acts mostly out of self-preservation, as that was how she survived growing up, and she's not above doing morally questionable things. She's not evil or an anarchist.
Three fun facts about your character some of these are not exactly fun OOP 1) Kasdeya is a really deadly fighter. Her physical abilities might be one of the reasons she was chosen for the Immortal Council. She was trained in PI, and she fights smart and dirty. She's difficult to beat, because she exploits a weakness as soon as she finds it. 2) Kasdeya has a sister, unknown to her, who is the Chaman of Renegade Regime. 3) Kasdeya thinks anything spiritual is idiotic and unreal. She'll probably learn eventually but for now she is not a believer, but a cynic.
Character’s Name Twistedecho Bio She’s a cat born of and to fear. It’s a fear that has always haunted her, prowling just a pawstep behind. Born a SunClan cat, she quickly learned to hide that fear, but it always lied in wait just under the surface. Her mother was a paranoid sort, too certain of ill intent from her Clanmates to find a mate among those she lived with. Instead she resorted to a rogue, an outsider that eventually ended up lumped into the same category everyone else was in. That fear was what ultimately led to Fearfulwhisper’s death, the she-cat untrusting of anyone else and ending up the vulnerable victim of a cat turned serial killer, but long before her eventual demise she was able to pass down her paranoia into her favored child. An ingrained certainty that every cat in SunClan was out to get her. Her fear never quite reached the level of her mother’s, though, and that is likely all that saved her. As a kitten her mother convinced her that her own Clan deserved to be betrayed, and so with her help little Twistedkit became a member of DayClan’s surveillance team. No one else knew in the Clan. Not even her littermates, and even to this day none of them know. Not empathetic Doublethink or caring Troubledheart. And certainly not vengeful Deadringer. She continued acting as a spy for DayClan into her apprenticeship, and then the Sun God showed himself. Not long after she was named a Janus. She was on the fence about how she felt about her promotion at first. It offered her access to power, privilege, and knowledge, the latter of which would prove invaluable to the surveillance team she was a part of, but it placed her right in the middle of a very thin line between life and potential death. Things only became worse when the surveillance team was disbanded only to be snatched up by the bloodthirsty Nemesis of Primal Instinct, Vera E’tani. Twistedecho was betrayed, turning to the God her Clan now worshipped and the hope to gain protection from Foxstar in exchange for knowledge from the team. By some miracle, her deal was accepted, but it was a deal that ultimately trapped her. She was being buried alive in a hole she dug, a hole that seemed to have no escape as the surveillance team eventually disbanded for good. There was only one cat that kept her from succumbing completely. The same cat that had left her to face Vera and Foxstar alone, and yet the same cat that eventually saved her from being swallowed whole by the Clan she was unfortunate to have been born into. Everything became too much, and her paws and soul were stained too black. Either she’d stay and become a mere shell of herself, or she ran. And the only place she could run where she’d have any chance at safety was DayClan, under Glowstar. The undersized, scrawny she-cat came in a time of desperation, fleeing in the hopes she could find peace within the Clan she’d always seen more as home than where she was born. And so far, she has found it. She can never be certain how long that peace will last, but until then she has slowly settled into a new life without fear of death at the slightest misstep. She still worries at times how many of DayClan may wish her ill will – it wasn’t that long ago when her birth Clan captured them all, when her paws were stained by blood of their own through those that failed initiation – but she pretends just as she’s used to that no such fear exists. She almost blends into the cats of her adopted Clanmates. Her ruddy red-brown fur is similar to some of the shades sported by those she now surrounds herself with, rich orange eyes so similar if not for the spark of fear always buried in their depths. She takes advantage of her ability to blend in whenever she can, preferring to forget her old life and be forgotten by cats that are far too likely to resent her for abandoning the Clan. She treads carefully on white paws, avoiding the border shared with SunClan whenever possible. She may blend in to any other outsider, but she doubts her Clanmates are going to soon forget what she looked like. Splashed with white across her chest and muzzle, so similar to her deceased mother, she doubts the scruffy DayClan warrior will ever be allowed to forget the time she was a Janus no matter how hard she tries. She doesn’t resent her old home, and at times wishes things didn’t end up the way they did. In her eyes, what truly taints her home is the monster at its head and, though to a much lesser extent, the deity that enables her blood-streaked path through the forest. She has no plans to ever return, especially with the new responsibility that has been thrown onto her thin shoulders, but that doesn’t mean she can’t hope better for the place she once called home.
How would they interact with the other council members and Glowstar? She’s already pretty close to Glowstar and would definitely be pretty open with her (at least about minor issues or things that don’t have to do with herself; Twist still doesn’t like spilling about her personal issues much) but she’s still not quite comfortable around much of the rest of DayClan, including the Immortal Council. Being a part of them will, at least at first, do little to ease that. Especially since they remind her of the Janus at a glance. She’ll be pretty nervous around the other Council members, though she’ll do her best to hide it as always, and for a while she’ll be rather uncomfortable in a position at all similar to the one she left when she left SunClan.
What are your favorite types of rp genres? (Horror, comedic, romantic, etc.) I enjoy several types of roleplay, but I think my favorites are angsty and fluffy roleplays. I love writing darker subjects and putting my characters through stress and turmoil, but I also love two characters being very sweet and soft with one another. With the latter, I’m a little awkward with it, but I still love writing it out from time to time.
Is your character Good/Chaotic Good/Neutral/Morally Grey/Evil/Anarchist Twistedecho is very, very morally gray, likely leaning somewhere between chaotic good and chaotic neutral. If she becomes an Immortal Council member, she won’t be above making questionable decisions for the good of the Clan. Once she gets comfortable, of course.
Three fun facts about your character She is a big fan of cat-watching. She likes just sitting in the background and listening and watching. She especially does so right now as she tries to learn how to be a ‘proper’ DayClan cat after years of being trapped in SunClan. Her favorite places in DayClan are the White Tree and the Hidden Pond. With the former, she enjoys occasionally going there despite the danger with being so close to SunClan. She can’t ever forget the place she was born and raised, and sometimes she’ll watch out for cats she knows, hoping for signs that things are better back home. With the latter, ever since she was brought into DayClan she has associated the place with sanctuary. It’s the place where she first officially became a member of DayClan. She is terribly socially stunted. As a kit, the closest thing to positive social interactions she had was with the surveillance team, and that was very briefly very few times. As she got older, she only became more and more isolated and surrounded by cats that would do little to help her. She doesn’t quite know how to make friends as a result and only knows how to fake friendly conversation.
Don’t know how much the last one especially counts as a ‘fun’ fact, but thought I’d put it in. I didn’t want to just fill it with her SunClan roots and such.
[ i'm not sure if i can apply for this, since i already hold a deputy position? but it's an rp position so maybe? not 100% sure on the rules but if i'm not allowed, just disregard this c: ♥ ]
ALVAH FARIS An impossibly tall, sleek black tom with fur that's longer, softer, and pale-tipped around his neck and eerie blue eyes that reflect copper in the right lighting. Despite his massive build - taller than both his siblings and larger than most of his family, which is already known for their towering height - he is surprisingly dainty, all slender legs, graceful movements, and a narrow, pretty face. More than anything, once one gets past the intimidating size and ghostly eyes, he is a complete drama queen, pretentious, condescending, and dreadfully extravagant. Rose petals and velvet and red wine, arched windows and marble fireplaces and springtime rain - he lives his life around the aesthetic of dandies and fops. With such fancy, expensive tastes and poor work ethic, he is far more likely to throw himself dramatically against rocks and lounge seductively over logs, to host exclusive, snobby parties and titter behind his paw at the faux pas of the uncultured multitudes than he is to ever raise a paw to help his adopted Clan. Grand, prissy, prim and proper, he will only eat the finest meals and wears a velvet black bow tie from one of the many times he has turned to twolegs to give him the food befitting one of his class rather than eat from a fresh-kill pile shared with those so far beneath him. Exceptionally lazy and exceptionally bored, he derives most of his pleasure from mocking those he deems inferior. Though generally cold, he will fly into a rage if he is misgendered; he has lived as a tom since he was three moons old. He prefers to watch cruelty and bloodshed and give instructions from the sidelines than partake in it himself; however, he does have a temper buried deep beneath his skin and will sometimes explode into a blind, homicidal state which he quite often can't remember afterwards - he'll turn sly and cruel, coaxing mothers out to be slaughtered by holding their kits in his teeth, and wake up hours later in a pool of blood and sinew. Despite all the pretences and affectations, he is extraordinarily fragile and insecure. He wants to be taken care of and loved for him, not flattered and praised for someone he isn't. He is secretly supportive of most others and loves seeing perfect strangers succeed at things, whether that be catching their first bird in mid-air or slaughtering someone who hurt them; he will often give them subtle help and deny it if asked. He craves genuine bonds but pushes others away with condescending remarks; he's weird about physical contact - he is uncomfortable with it, but desperately craves it. A remnant of his youth, he would think, if he were one for introspection - he associates touch with pain and is still struggling to understand that it can be pleasant. At birth, he and his two sisters were kidnapped by two rogue toms that had been following his family. The rogues became the only parents they had ever known, hot-headed and abusive and hateful; the three siblings were tortured, beaten half to death, forced to survive on whatever the rogues provided for them, which was often no more than the milk of whichever nameless queens they could find along the road; they grew up knowing only violence and misery and it quickly became the norm - something they deserved. Subsequently, Alvah rarely tries to fight back if he is attacked - not because he enjoys it, but because he learned young to simply go still and let it happen. When he and his siblings were two moons old, they devised a plan to escape - but only he and one sister managed to get out and they were forced to leave the last one behind. They stayed together until they were six moons old, without names or homes or stories - they were simply "sister" and "brother". When they were six moons of age, they were separated and Brother found himself on DayClan territory, where he was found by a she-cat named Wanderingwight. He was brought into the Clan, where he was reunited with the sister he hadn't been able to save from the rogues, Fia Cendrillion. By then, overwhelmed by grief and fear, he had already slipped into a fictional world of his own making. He knows nothing of his family roots and only remembers fragments of his childhood; he has blocked most of it out and lives in a semi-invented, dissociated reality of invite-only parties, victorian splendour and chandeliers. If he were to remember everything and let himself be who he truly he is and who he is suppressing, he would be nothing but a frightening, mewling, lost, broken little kit terrified of everything and longing for the sister he lost along the way. He was stunted in his upbringing and still hasn't recovered. The parts of his past he does remember, he is surprisingly open about, in a melodramatic, performative sort of way, for gasps and shock and applause. Eaten alive by guilt. Looks down on primal instinct as uncouth roughians. Loyal only to his sisters; feels love only for them. Numb, but still soft on the inside - he understands what is right and wrong and desperately wants to help those in pain and in need; but he won't, because the abuse of his youth instilled within him a terrible sense of learned helplessness and he believes himself to be as helpless and useless as a kit. Deep down, he is kind and selfless, but is far too broken to ever let it show, or to even know it's there.
how would they interact with the other council members and glowstar?
though he generally looks down on primal instinct and it's members - or former members - as uncultured and crude, i honestly feel like he and glowstar would get along. he's got very deadpan humour, somewhat grey morals, and thinks he's just so far above it all that he's bored to death with everyone and everything - so i feel like he'd appreciate glowstar's humour and her twisted morals and they'd be a really interesting pair, with one being so drawly and lazy and unimpressed with everything and the other being so lively and manic. i think they could bounce off each other and have a fun odd-couple, mismatched relationship. (plus, she's also his secret great-grandmother as he is the grandson of wanderingwight, so even if neither of them know it, there's gotta be a bit of solidarity in there somewhere.) as for the other council members, he'd most likely just scoff and roll his eyes most of the time and would only interact with them when he absolutely had to; they're so beneath him, after all.
what are your favourite type of rp genres?
horror, comedy, romance, family bonds and all the drama that goes along with that, and adventures and quests - basically anything that can a) be fun for me and my partner(s) as the roleplayers and help me build relationships with them ooc, and b) challenge my characters in ways that can make them develop and give them genuine memories and experiences to draw on in the future. i love shallow, meaningless, silly threads that are just fluff and won't necessarily lead anywhere, because i love the thought that these are just every day moments that my characters are going through, just like everyone does in real life; and i love big, dramatic, challenging plots that are all about death and mayhem and excitement. really, at the end of it all, i just want to be able to have characters that i can look at and go "i can honestly tell you what happened at each point in their timeline, from the small moments to the big, because i've been there through it all". if that makes sense ♥ i'm also such an absolute sucker for horror and just the vibe of mist and meadows and monsters and moonlight, ugh!! send me into a haunted cornfield on the full moon and i'll be happy
is your character good/chaotic good/neutral/morally grey/evil/anarchist?
-looks at character thread- here's one i very luckily prepared earlier! he is... -skims page- ... lawful evil! though he does have compassion and tenderness buried deep down, he will kill without much guilt if it's convenient or necessary, and there are times when he'll lose himself in a sort of homicidal trance and go on a bit of a killing spree. he also does judge those who fall short of their duties, or the duties that he thinks they ought to have. he's quite trustworthy - if he gives you his word, he will never break it, no matter the cost. he also doesn't like to lie and will tell the truth in most circumstances, even if it's only to see how doing so makes all the chess pieces move around the board. he's certainly not an anarchist; he might get his nice, clean fur all dirty.
three fun facts about your character:
1. he lives in his own invented reality to cope with the trauma of his childhood
2. he likes to use long words to sound distinguished, even if he doesn't actually know what they mean and ends up using them in completely the wrong context
3. his favourite flowers are snowdrops and he likes to roll in patches of them and purr when no one is watching

(not sure if she counts since i just said i wanted her promoted on the ac, but i thought i'd try out with her anyway. if she doesn't qualify, disregard this post)
Characters Name: Goldenpaw (phantom)
Bio: A mask. It's to disguise, to hide, to blind myself from the future. I have eyes in the back of my head, I can only look back. To the dark. To hell. To harsh words burned into my mind, blood running down my gold and white coat, and no one meeting my sunny gaze. To them, it's heaven and I was simply unsuited for it. I'd be rejected at the gate, so I ran and ran and ran until I came here. Warmth. Light. Home. That's what this place is to me. It's quirky, beautiful and we have our problems, but I wouldn't have it any other way. I don't want it any other way. I wish time would stop. I want to live in this moment forever, here with you and everyone else. It'll never happen, but I can't look to the future. Compared to the past, the future is much darker. Not even that place can compare. Infinite possibilities. It can be good or bad. Everything can go wrong so easily, you can be hurt so easily. The present is consistent, things are well. I don't want anyone to feel that pain, I want to protect them with all my might. I want them to be happy. If a cage of bones like me can give comfort to someone, that would make me so happy. So I'll adopt this mask. ??. Is it the most truthful part of me? I can't say. To everyone, I'm kind, motherly, happy, funny, everything that was wrong with me before is now being praised. A mask can be part of you, you know? Look, I hear this huge white splotch on my face reminds cats of one. This mask is mine, i'll hide my wincing expression behind it. My pain will be like my name, a phantom. Invisible. Gone. You shouldn't worry about me though. I'm pretty tough. You ought to be focusing on yourself, no? It's fine, I'll continue to be perfect, perform my role excellently, all for you, for Dayclan. For everyone I love, so look the other way when I mess up, okay? Will the day come where I can rip off this mask? I don't know, but don't leave my side until it can, okay.
How would they interact with the other council members and Glowstar?: Considering her age, that's already a big thing I can see them talk about. She'd treat everyone with respect, but she would also hide her true feelings more cause she feel she won't belong and want to impress them. She would still try to befriend them though. She's also originally from PI, so yay more survivors . Her and Glowstar both see Dayclan as somewhere to protect. I see Goldenpaw as both idolizing and a little scared of Glowstar, for doing everything she wished she could do but also reminding her of everyone she fears. She'd struggle to come to a stationary place until she gets to know Glowstar better.
What are your favorite type of rp genres? (Horror, comedic, romantic, etc.): Comedy is my big favorite! Nothing cheers me up more than a thread where I get to express myself and my characters through humor. I also like threads that challenge my characters beliefs, establish long relationships and fluffy lovey dovey threads. I'm not very good with horror or gore, so I'd call those my least favorite. I'll still do them though.
Is your character Good/ Chaotic Good/ Neutral/ Morally Grey/ Evil/ Anarchist: Neutral Good . Normally, she has pretty high morals. She's adverse to violence, and not one to trick others or use dirty tactics. But she loves and wants to protect Dayclan so much, she'd throw away those morals instantly. Protecting Dayclan would become her identity if she joined the Immortal Council. After getting used to her position, she'd gently tell others to do their jobs and keep everyone in line.
Three fun facts about your character: -She loves to come up with new folktales and stories to entertain -She adores frogs. She'll go out to the Endless Falls when it's raining and jump around with them. -She's all rogue blood. Her father Houdini had a litter of kits before her, though she doesn't know it.
I think this was one of the tougher tryouts I've ever done cause like all of these characters are amazing and their biographies blew me away! But ultimately the one I have chosen for the new Immortal Council member to be is xxSunlight with Kasdeya!
Congratulations and thank-you everyone for trying out! ヾ(^ヮ^)ノ
