Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
WELCOME TO THE CHARGED TRAINING. IN ORDER FOR YOUR CAT TO ATTEMPT THE TRAIL THIS MONTH, YOU MUST REPLY TO THIS THREAD. IF YOU DO NOT REPLY TO THIS THREAD, YOU DO NOT GET TO PARTICIPATE. THE ONLY EXCEPTION TO THIS IS IF YOU ARE ON ABSENCE FOR AT LEAST 2 WEEKS OUT OF THE MONTH.
ONE CHARGED PER MONTHLY TRAINING SESSION WILL IMPRESS SHAE. THEY WILL GET A SPECIAL 1X1 TRAINING SESSION WITH HER. THIS TRAINING SESSION WILL INCREASE THE LIKELIHOOD OF TRIAL SUCCESS BY +15%
GOOD LUCK.
Honeystormracer honey, since you have two charged, as long as you reply to this thread with at least 1 of them, both will qualify to enter the trial if you so desire.

Shae blinked her eyes, half in disgust, half in intrigue. This was the first time that she would be working with the charged. They were the weakest links of her group, and there was always a part of her that wanted to quickly get rid of the bodies of any cat who failed the trial. After all, it was a horrendous mistake to make. The trials were not easy, per say, but with enough strategy, they were not impossible. These cats in front of her, then, were disappointments. They were failures, the ones that could not rise to the most basic task that would allow them real lives as combatants. Was it true weakness that caused these cats to fail? Did they want to fail? Shae was interested in the answer to these questions, and she was determined that today, she would find her answer. After all, today she was giving these cats her fullest attention.
Of course, she was willing to give one of them the benefit of the doubt. Just as she rewarded two tyros with an individual training session post the group training, she would do the same for one of these felines. It shouldn't be hard for a cat to catch her eye; after all, the group was only three. In larger groups, perhaps this training would have been more impressive. The charged would really have to work for it to get the coveted time with the Heda.
Her tail swished, before she cleared her throat. "I suppose now is as good of a time to begin as any, hmm?" she meowed. Her voice was clear, but it had an intense coldness to it. It gave the impression that she didn't want to be here. Of course, that wasn't necessarily the case. If she hadn't wanted to train the charged, she could have forced Nova to do her dirty work. However, she didn't want them to have the honor of telling the combatants that they caught her attention. That would be a disaster waiting to happen.
"I want each of you to reflect aloud how you ended up a Charged. From there, we will discuss today's training excersize."

It wasn't difficult for Trinity to figure out why she had failed her trial, she had made to many enemies and underestimated them... but more than that she had overestimated her own abilities, turning a blind eye to the coo that Serenity had organized. If some many of the others hadn't turned on her, she would have found a way out of it but it was impossible for one cat to defeat that many at once. She had done everything in her power to turn the situation to her advantage, but her words fell on deaf ears. They wanted her dead. She had fought bravely, even managing to take out the cat who had organized the whole thing but the older cats stepped in to prevent her from receiving further injuries. She had been disqualified, not due to lack of survival skill but being so injured that continuing onwards would have likely ended in her death.
Since then she had felt nothing but shame, until a certain tom had come into the picture. He made he want to fight once more. He had given her reason to live once more. She was early on in her pregnancy, not that there were any visible signs as of yet. She was determined, this litter would not see their mother as a failure. She would pass this trial, or die trying. She tipped her head upwards, meeting the gaze before her, ready to take the first step of redemption.
At the silence that followed her instructions, the Heda narrowed her eyes. "I believe I said out loud," she snapped, her gaze drifting across the trio that sat in front of her. Were her instructions unclear? Or were the Charged just daft? The tabby thought that the latter was probably more accurate, but she was full of herself so that wasn't particularly a surprise for anyone that she would doubt that she was easy to understand. "I'm interested in your failures and what we can learn from them," she then continued, trying to level her voice. Be patient, Shae, and these cats could show you something, the voice in her head murmmured.
