Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
Freckledorange stomped around the territory looking for something to do. At some point he thought the day had gone by, but when he looked up in the sky the sun had just come up. At this point he was back in camp and with a heavy sigh realized he was bored again. Good news was he came back at perfect timing to drag someone along on one of his patrols that everyone seemed to find boring except for him. Sweeping his gaze around camp he gave a big toothy grin to the cats just waking up, "Hey would anyone like to go on a patrol with me?"
Zephyrglade seemed to have summoned himself next to the tom and shook his head before walking in front of Freckledorange, "Let me handle this," He whispered to Freckledorange before looking back at the crowd, "Hello glorious clan mates? Would any of you beautiful hot warriors like to go on a patrol with me and support our wonderful clan and the youth, old, and all else within it? Studies show a patrol a day keeps the medicine cat away."
The short-legged warrior had stopped just outside the warriors' den, stretching out each leg in turn, when Freckledorange's voice rose in the camp. She paused with one hind leg halfway stretched out, ears perking up. She cast a quick glance around for signs of anyone else offering to join, hesitating just long enough for Zephyrglade to speak up as well. She couldn't help an amused purr at his words, deciding that it didn't seem like any wanted to join on the initial offer. At least, none that she noticed.
Trailblazer trotted over towards the two toms, coming to a stop with her tail high and something between a smirk and a smile on her face. "You should be careful with that flattery of yours, Zeph," she meowed teasingly to the latter tom, the tip of her tail curling in amusement. "You'll end up with half the Clan fighting to join in asking like that." Then her eyes turned onto Freckledorange, the young she-cat making the small shift from standing to sitting as she added, "Don't need to ask like that to get my attention anyways. I'm always up for a patrol. Y'know where you're planning on going?"
Freckledorange purred at Trailblazer's determination, he was always up for a patrol too, it was nice to see someone eager to join in. Plus Trailblazer used to be a kittypet too and like himself she joined when she was very young, he was always cheering her on in the background when he heard of her progress in DayClan. She was a Blinding Light after, all like himself. Someday he was hoping to get into the Bright Brigade like Zephyrglade.
Zephyrglade rubbed the back of his head, "Guess I should use my powers more carefully huh? I was thinking we go now."
"Hey, I'm patrol leader," Freckledorange hissed playfully at his clanmate.
"Oh right, sorry Freckles," Zephyrglade apologized before waving his paw for Freckledorange to lead the way much like a squire would wave their arm to the side to announce a king's presence.
Freckledorange rolled his eyes at Zephyrglade and seemed to look at Trailblazer as if to say, you see what I have to deal with today? and marched forward.
She gave an amused purr as she met Freckledorange's look, a bright smirk on her face. It quickly turned to a wide grin as she trotted after her Clanmates, head high as she followed. Of course, her head held high only reached to the toms' shoulders at best, but she didn't care. She was just looking forwards to hanging out with a couple Clanmates, and perhaps some adventure if they were lucky enough.
She resisted the urge to cast back and forth behind the patrol, only glancing from one side to the other instead of sticking her nose into every nook and cranny along the way. No matter how old the warrior got, she'd always be that fresh-faced apprentice at heart, eager to see the world in a new way every day. But for now she stayed near to her Clanmates, looking up at first Zephyrglade and then towards Freckledorange. "Sooo," she meowed after a while, her yellow eyes wandering before she even finished the drawn-out word. "You didn't mention. Where're you planning on heading, hm? We could head out past the borders and see some weird places if you'd like. I've seen all sorts of cool stuff while out exploring." She didn't even wait for an answer before she started listing off places. "There's that tree that looks like it got broke in half by fire or something. Or the abandoned rabbit warren. Oh, and there was that weird Twoleg garden that was filled with stone except for a big puddle that tasted really gross."
