Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
-chewing on a stalk of wheat and looking out over my fields at the end of a hot summer’s day (you can still smell the sun on the dirt)- what does a fella have to do in these no good diggity darn parts to get a godDAMN love interest
nahh okay so!! my boy doefreckle has just moved from brookclan to become the new summerclan deputy and i’m looking for a few little plots! they could be anything, really — romance, forbidden romance, flings-that-turn-into-something-more, (best)friendships, friendship groups, siblings, unrequited love with a straight boy, enemies (though i can’t imagine doe disliking anyone, you’d have to really work for it LMAOO), his past abuser(s) resurfacing and causing havoc and Angst, current abuse, murder, anything! i’d love to delve more into doe’s background, with his history of relationships with violent toms and abuse, so a flashback plot or two is something i’m definitely up for! i’d also love to build relationships that could be used for possible summerclan plots in the future, whether they end up being allies, at war, whatever.
i’ll include a few plots i have on my characters thread just as food for thought, but i’m also super open to really any other sort of plot, whether it’s just frivolous fun or something deeper — everything builds character development as far as i’m concerned <33 :
i.if same-clan: doefreckle comes home dripping with blood; another tom is horrified and pesters him for information, doefreckle tries to be nonchalant and brush off the questioning, he probably ends up breaking down and crying. if cross-clan: a tom finds him near the border, terribly injured and trying to avoid going back to camp and letting his clan see their deputy in such a state. the same thing ensues, and then they agree to meet again the next night. cute adventures and forbidden love. maybe their relationship is discovered (with a Dramatic, Emotional plot where they're being all sweet and affectionate and peaceful and Happy and then they're sprung by someone cruel and torn apart and we all CRY) and one (or both) of them end(s) up being executed for their love? while the other watches and can't do anything to stop it? good times either way LMAO! we stan inflicting emotional trauma on fictional gay cats (plot possibly filled, but variations open!!)
ii. best friends!!! odd-couple friends, with someone who's snarky and mean and then doefreckle is just so cheerful and optimistic and !!! or the both of them are happy and bubbly and they play pranks on everyone and go on adventures and love each other, bye ! some connections within summerclan to make his transition easier would be lovely as well!
iii. m u r d e r c o v e r u p (a la the secret history). he has another fling with an abusive tom and, for the first time, fights back and accidentally kills him. he panics and a group of friends (or acquaintances, or enemies - they might just be a ramshackle band of strangers from other clans who are in the wrong place at the wrong time and for SOME REASON decide to help) help him hide the body and cover up the murder. and then they all become best friends.
iv. doefreckle and a bunch of close friends find a twoleg campsite that has recently been vacated. the campfire is still burning and they all gather around it and tell ghost stories, eat, snuggle, play games (truth or dare, never have i ever, hide and seek in the dark after they've all been spooked by scary stories and everyone is jumping at nothing, perfect), explore, and just have general banter. i'd love it to have a really organic, natural flow so they'd (and we'd) probably all have to know each other pretty well :'^D <33
v. just like.... a cute getting-to-know-you, blossoming romance thread where they climb trees and run through fields of fireflies and are soft cliche gays lol
vi. a quest to the sea!! pretty much like the journey to the sun-drowned place in the new prophecy: a group of cats (mismatched, or friends, or strangers, cross-clan, same-clan, w/e) is sent to the ocean on a mission for whatever reason and mayhem ensues - bonding, arguments, sing-alongs, everybody getting annoyed by the sing-alongs, struggling to find food, getting along, not getting along, huddling for warmth, sniping at how they've been forced together, etc.

TL/DR: doefreckle is the new summerclan deputy and he’s gay and has a thing for being mistreated, whaddaya gonna do
I have Coyoteway in Nightclan who I've been meaning to arrange a relationship for. But I also would love for him to help Doe hide a body because that is 100% so within his character it calls to me. I could see him being friends with the tom Doefreckle accidentally murders as well. So perhaps comes to see where the other disappeared to and comes across Doefreckle freaking out and it just like 'sigh'
