In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.

Fang lazed about the hidden pond, away from the world around him. Really, he should be with his kits, or his mate, or anything but where he was, but he just couldn't bring himself to get up today. Their kits still found it hard to accept them, and he hadn't been talking to Rubyflame as much as he probably should. He wanted to remedy it, but he didn't have the energy. It was like his limbs were weighed down by rocks, his mind fogged and unable to navigate even simple tasks. Even dreams didn't bring respite, though he was sleeping far, far too much even for his usual self, losing some weight from sheer forgetfulness and apathy.
Glowstar suddenly plopped herself down in front of him, "Heyyy."
Truly she wasn't supposed to be there as she liked cats to be able to keep secrets and have a place away from her, but she was worried about Fang. Well that wasn't true, she was worried for all her kits, today just happened to be the day to worry about Fang, "How are you doing? How are the kits? Your mate? Yourself?"

Even if it rotated, he knew his mother cared about him. The tom lifted his heck, mocking sleepiness as he blinked his eyes slowly and offered a small smile. "Just fine." Fang answered, though there was little emotion behind the words, "...As always." His voice trailed off, but he really didn't offer anything more to go by. All the same, it was fairly obvious things were anything but fine. Glowstar just had to look around, at his kits, at Rubyflame, at him, and it was pretty apparent, even if he denied it.
(I feel legit SO bad for Fang cause this happened to someone I know irl where the mom joined a cult, divorced, and the kids were brainwashed to hate their dad. Like it's just heart breaking, I hope Fang and Rubyflame get a better ending cause I'm cheering them on! ;__; )
"Aw, hey, don't worry, Shadow will visit and plus we have the Eve of Peace now with SunClan. Your kits will see that we're a united force, plus we're getting prophecies of apocalyptic doom being hurled our way so we have that to look forward to. Nothing like a tragedy to bond two clans or cats together," Glowstar smiled, but frowned and walked behind him to lie on top of Fang, "I know things are hard, but one day your kiddos are going to need you. You just need to be ready for that call and to support them or do whatever it takes."

(Oof. Yeah, idk, but at least some of their kits are on their side. Lightningpaw is probs going to end up joining Shadowpaw though, unless something changes, tbh.)
"Does anyone really need me?" He questioned, his voice small and tired. Defeated. "I lay her and sleep all day, dream away and leave the world to the others to deal with. Who needs someone like that?" Sure, was strong enough to be part of the Bright Brigade. But considering just how little he seemed to use his skills, it was easier to believe he'd gotten the rank more for who his mother was than having actually deserved it, even if it wasn't true in the slightest.
