Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
Her namesake comes from her small form and light step; she rarely leaves the main house during the day, preferring to stick to the shadows. Her mother had joked, when Bug was just a youngling, that Bug's fur used to be a solid white, before her pelt began to absorb the shadows, turning it a dark black. Bug likes to believe that it's true, when the gore gets a bit too much for her; it reminds her of the good ol' days. Back then, she could rely on her mother, Reina, and her father, Deimos, to protect her and guide her, but because of their fierce loyalty to the League, they perished, defending their land that they so loved, when Bug was in the middle of her training. She wanted to be strong just like them, but her pain tolerance was low and she struggled to remember the moves of the battle techniques - her training opponent would knock her to the ground, while she stood there is a panicked haze of confusion. Because of this, she would much rather use her words, than her claws and teeth to complete her tasks. Though to save anonymity, she gives them a false name - with a slight twinge of guilt that appears to grow duller each time. Bug does sometimes muck the information she returns with, perhaps making a few specifics now vague potentials. She struggles to distance herself emotionally from her job, as she can't help but feel a twinge of guilt of how the lives of those with family, friends, or loved ones will be affected. A neutral outlook is one she aspires to have but those pesky emotions continuously ruin her preferred neutrality. Bug ruins her unemotional attempts, as one of her favorite pastimes is to watch other Clans or groups in their usual routines, more curious than a desire to gather information. She finds the different societies and cultures fascinating, though knows that most of them would rather not talk to a League hunter, much less discuss their secrets. Then why does Bug stay in the League? First, she is too stubborn to walk away from a challenge - even though she has set herself up to fail from her lack of effort in battle training; she hates to give up. More so than that, though, is the guilt of how much time the League has taken to train her and the home they have provided for her. How, then, would they respond to a traitor that abandoned the League because she wasn't strong enough? Fear of consequences drives her to stay in a home full of death and risk the loss of her empathy for safety.
