Curvykit waited patiently, watching as the adults went about their buissness. She was determined that she was going to leave camp today, no matter what it took. Her mom had always told her stories of what it was like outside the clan, and she wanted to see for herself. As a patrol set out to leave, she fell into step behind them hoping that they wouldn't notice until it was already to late to send her back
Eaglekit slipped up to Curvykit, who was following a patrol out of camp. "Whatcha doin?" she asked quietly, determined to slip out of camp with Curvykit. Eaglekit and Curvykit were kin, Curvykit was the daughter of Eaglekit's older brother, Timberfrost.
Gentlekit watched as first her sister, Curvykit, then Eaglekit, who was technically their aunt, made to follow a patrol out of camp. The young she-cat quickly joined the other two. "I want to come too." she said.
Eaglekit glanced excitedly at Gentlekit. "I mean no one would notice as long as we weren't out too long...." She said quietly, eyes darting around the camp to make sure no one was watching them.
Eaglekit cast another suspicious look around the camp before darting towards the camp entrance and slipping out into the forest. She looked back, waiting for Gentlekit to follow her.
Gentlekit was as amazed by everything around here as Eaglekit and she looked around gape mouthed. She’d heard stories from her mom about the world outside of the camp walls but had never been able to imagine just what it looked like.

Curvykit rolled her eyes "if you two don't shush, I'm going to send you back. I don't want to get caught, so don't ruin it for all of us" she snapped, but mostly she was just irritated that she had been caught by the other kits
“Good point.” Gentlekit had to admit. She looked in the direction that the patrol had gone and didn’t spot them anymore. “I think they’re gone.” She said.

Curvykit let out a little sigh of relief, once she couldn't hear the patrol any more "now we need to get away from the path so that no one sees us. Which way should we go?" she asked her two new companions
