Egretfeather sighed as the wind blew through the caves that made up Waterclan's camp. It was such a solemn sound, yet it contributed to the feeling of home. The clan was in disarray. Riverstar had brought them to chaos and all they could do was sit back and watch. Kits were being worked to the bone and elders stumbling as they left on patrols. Surely it wasn't meant to be this way? Deciding not to wallow in her pity any longer, she rose to her paws and began trekking her way across the camp to go on a hunt.
Bayleaf twitched an ear as she was standing near the camp entrance, looking around the camp. Her green eyes blinking slowly as she observed everything around her. She shook her head and turned to go outside the camp to go hunting when she saw someone heading her way. She moved to give the other cat room to leave the entrance. She had seen the toll it had taken, the warriors worked hard, the Kits and Elders having to work, it just wasn't right! They kits should be playing, and the Elders relaxing and telling the Clan about their time as warriors. Bayleaf licked a paw and slowly began to head deeper into WaterClan territory.

She wasn't exactly paying attention to where she was going, so it was no surprise when Egretfeather ran right into the other warrior. "Ah, I'm so sorry!" She meowed frantically, shaking away dust from her ivory coat. "Are you alright, Bayleaf? I hope I didn't startle you."
