Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.

( In this thread of the Festival, taking place at exactly noon, the cats of the clan have gathered at the Burial Grounds, where the faithful dead are allowed to roam for the day and talk with the living like they never died. Said deceased should not be sharing warnings or omens or anything of the sort, as this day is meant for them to enjoy and catch up with those they've left behind, and they should generally keep their mouths shut about the more unpleasant things. If you have a deceased SunClan cat from ANY point in time, you can rp them again now! If you do not have a living SunClan cat, you may create one to join in the festivities. <3 This thread takes place after the SunClan patrols Racer created a few days ago, so if you killed off a character there, they can definitely be rped here. )
Wolfkit danced through the sunflowers with delight, his ethereal form passing through the green stems and brightly colored flowers with cheerful glee. The young tom, Jackalmemory's brother, had died just over a year and a half prior, when the fire had swept through the clan, killing many and bringing the Sun God to save them. He hadn't aged a day since his death, the tiny tom bright and cheery despite the fact he'd now spent more time dead than alive, many times over, in fact. He had but one regret, and that was Wormwood, the serial killer of SunClan who'd blamed himself for the death of said little kitten. He had wanted to tell Wormwood that it wasn't his fault, but he'd never gotten the chance. And now he never would.

Littlebird smiled, allowing he tail to intertwine with Skipstep's. It was a happy time for the clan, a needed moment of peace within all the recent chaos. She could only hope that getting to those that had passed on would help those around her feel more peaceful about their passing. She two had some cats that she was hoping to see, the three kits that she had lost soon after birth in her first litter. The Sun God had allowed her to see them once before, and she couldn't help but to seek them out now. Jetclaw
Twilightbell was sitting near the nursery. She had brought her own kits out for the festival. Honestly, she was hoping that she might get to see her mother today. She wanted to introduce her to her grandkits. While things had been difficult for her here lately, she was finally recovering some of her old spirit. Despite the whispers she heard here and there, her kits were growing every day and she couldn't wait to see who they would become.
Solarkit, who already seemed to have a permanently grumpy look on his face was still pouting over the fact that his mother had forced him to sit through yet another bath. So what if he had found a mud puddle to play in earlier? That didn't mean he needed a bath. He didn't really get what was so important about this festival anyway.

Indeed, Twilightbell would not be missing out on meeting her mother this season. The she-cat, who for all the world looked almost like a copy of the Promised's daughter, save for eyes that were identical to those of the Soothsayer, strode towards them with a vibrant smile. She had hoped Nightshadeintuition would be here, but as fate would have it, he was rather indisposed at the moment. Even so, this was a day to celebrate. They could focus on him in the days to come, and the Sun God surely wouldn't like it should she ruin the festivities with talk of the Clan's recent difficulties.
Morningkit bounced around Solarkit, wearing a bright, cheery grin as her light fur rippled with her excited movement, so in contrast to her littermate. "Why the long face, Solarkit?" She questioned with a lighthearted giggle. "Come on, lighten up!"
Skipstep padded alongside his mate. He wasn't as actively looking around, though his eyes lit up as a white and gray balinese she cat came up to them.
"Brother!" Grace meowed trotting over to Littlebird and Skipstep. She beamed, green blue eyes bright as she stopped by them, her steps dainty and careful, graceful, no longer dragged down by the slow burning illness that had robbed the life from her. She looked almost apprentice aged, having been too weak to make it to becoming an apprentice alongside her siblings when they arrived. "It's good to see you! And Littlebird." She dipped her head to the Priestess Promised. "I am so glad, my brother has found someone who can tolerate him." She said purring.
Skipstep huffed and shook his head at his deceased littermate. "IT's impolite to not introduce yourself Grace," He admonished his sister.
"True, true," Grace purred and she stepped forwards and crouched down respectfully. "I am Grace, humbled to make the acquaintance oh glorious priestess promised." She said. Her words were polite, though there was amusement in her mew.

"So you are the grace he speaks so much about" Littlebird smiled politely before playfully batting at her mate's shoulder. She had heard his sister's name mentioned several times, but she had passed away before Littlebird had even came to SunClan "I'm sure you have lots of good stories about him when he was younger" she mused.
"I'm tired of mom fussing over us like we're still babies. Do you realize I've had three baths today?" He sneaked a glare up at his mother before looking back at Morningkit. "How are we supposed to have any fun if she's always dragging us back in the nursery?"
A familiar scent caught Twilightbell's attention. Of course it was a scent that she had really only been near in her dreams, but it was a pleasant one all the same. She glanced over at Solarkit and Morningkit before nudging them towards Berrystep. "Why don't the two of you say hello to your grandmother?" She was going to have to track down the remainder of her kits shortly, but since these two were nearby, they could at least meet her mother.
Unlike most, Dragonswrath didn’t have any cat he wanted to see. Instead, he just watched the rest of the clan reunite. In all of his time, he had never grown close to any one cat to actually care enough. The only thing running through his mind was the spirits who had pretty much been forgotten.
Berrystep smiled at her daughter for a moment, her tail whispering against the feline's cheek before she turned to her grandkits with a smile about as wide as it would go, pride glowing in her eyes. She was a grandmother. Of course, she'd known as much, word spread fast among SunClan cats, even the deceased, and she'd long since gotten used to watching her only kits grow and change before her eyes. Still, when she died, she'd never thought she would have the opportunity to actually meet the rest of her family. Her heart swelled as she crouched down to their level, positively beaming. In her face, one could see Morningkit's future self, what the she-cat would grow to look like, and perhaps act like. "Hello. I'm Berrystep, Twilightbell's mother." She introduced.
Morningkit smiled back brightly, after sticking her tongue out at her brother teasingly, of course. "I'm Morningkit!" She laughed lightly, bouncing around her grandmother cheerily as if only just noticing how much they looked alike. "We're twins!" She announced happily.
For a moment, one might have thought Mountainsound had sit herself beside Dragonswrath, if not for the fact that the eyes didn't match, looking out at the world with a calm, wise expression, mismatched silvery blue and a vivid golden orange. Silver tabby stripes struck through dark mountain gray fur ever so slightly thicker than that of the Senator, but other than this, the two could be identical. Whistlingrange curled her tail around her paws, watching on in silence, a serene smile on her face as she observed SunClan. "Not going to join in?" The ghostly figure questioned, tilting her head forward as it turned to look at the Soothsayer beside her.
Flawedperspective had made it her sole goal to tend to the burial grounds. To make sure each and every grave remained pristine. And now, she could watch proudly as every cat in the clan gathered to met those who’d passed before them. She herself had not lost anyone yet, but she felt sympathy for those who had and wished to rejoice with them in seeing their loved ones. It seemed as though many cats had already arrived and yet more would come throughout the day and she would greet and welcome each one as she went and found placing flowers on graves as she went. Spotting, Mojntainsound and Dragonswrath she made her way towards them with a few flowers left. “Hello!”
He hummed gently. “Nah. I know so many cats, but I’ve never been close to any.” He murmured. His voice was almost sad, something that was unusual for the Tom. Dragonswrath glanced over at the other cat. “What’s your name?” His eyes shifted towards Flawedperspective and gave a wave of his tail.
Solarkit looked up at Berrystep who was almost an exact copy of his sister and tilted his head to the side. This was his grandmother? Why hadn't he seen her around before? Didn't she like them? Maybe she just preferred to avoid them because she didn't like them and if that was the case he didn't like her either. The young tom looked up at her with a grumpy look on his face. "How come we never see you around? If you are our grandmother shouldn't you live with us?"
Unlike Solarkit, Shiningkit was looking up at Berrystep with a curious expression. He did want to know why she never came to see them, but he was more interested in getting to know his grandmother than figuring out where she had been up to this point.
Solarkit's question made Twilightbell tense. It was just like him to ask something like that. Her son had always been a bit on the critical side. He seemed to have a soft spot for Morningkit, but she seemed to be the only exception to his normally grumpy demeanor. "You'll have to excuse Solarkit. He can be a bit testy at the best of times." As she spoke, she had moved her fluffy black tail to cover her son's mouth. He let out a muffled protest, but she did realize that this festival was supposed to remain happy. Speaking of sadder things would most likely be frowned upon.

Berrystep, unlike her daughter, merely chuckled and smiled at the tom. "Oh, don't worry." She assured. "I don't think explaining this part of the festivities should cause too much of a ruckus."
Her tail twitched slightly, firelight seeming to flicker just slightly through the plush fur. "Take a look around for me, Solarkit. Do you see the cats who are out of place? The ones that you can seem to see through if you look for long enough?" She paused for a moment to let him look, but then continued on without expecting a response. "We are SunClan's deceased. Once per year, on this very day, the solstice, we are allowed to walk among the living at the Burial Grounds. We are granted the chance to see the loved ones we left behind." Her smile was serene, and the feline didn't seem upset by admitting she was deceased. "I couldn't visit you before, but I wanted to ensure that I didn't miss my chance while I had it. Even if it's only once a year, I don't intend on missing these meetings, so you'll have to promise to keep your mother on her toes for me and tell me all about it." She winked playfully, hoping the comment would lessen the sad reality of the situation somewhat. Though it wasn't exactly ideal, she had long since come to terms with her situation, and was simply glad for any opportunity at all to speak with her children and their families.
"Perhaps you should remedy that." She commented to the Soothsayer, her tail raising to twitch a greeting to the Priestess' daughter. "My name is Whistlingrange. I'm Mountainsound's mother. Though that part may have been rather obvious."
