Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
(Quick Summary: Tinybreath is told to stand guard at the medicine cat den, but with some persuasion let the prisoners Juniperpaw and Rustywolf go. They want to find the missing deputy Chimerahunt and go to the Regime to ask for help, only to discover he is their prisoner. Juniperpaw seeks out the group's healers for training, Rustywolf goes to convince the commander to release Chim, and Tinybreath heads to SummerClan to find their family and deputy Tuskblood. See how far you can get in this thread, once they reach the Regime it can split into separate threads if needed c: GidgetGalHoneystormindy )
Wyverndelirium was exhausted. He had worked for a day and a half without rest, sending out patrol after patrol to mark borders and find prey and train apprentices, and on top of it all he was arguing with his relatives and constantly defending the questionable actions of their new leader. He needed a break, so with his fur dusty and drooping he sought out his sister with apologetic eyes. "Tinybreath, I know you're... unhappy with how things are going, and I know you want to look after the kits, but I need you on guard duty outside the medicine den. Don't talk to them, don't let them go, and remember they're there for a reason," Wy told her firmly, an order instead of a request.

She hadn't been able to convince Tinybreath to leave before. She hadn't really had any other chances to talk to her sister and try and convince her to help them out, but when she spotted Wyverndelirium speaking with Tinybreath from her makeshift prison, she held her breath, turning to talk to her companion. "Seems like now might be our chance." Rustyheart's voice was barely above a whisper. They didn't want to alert their current guard, after all. Hopefully her sister wouldn't be so hesitant this time. It had been long enough since Riverwolf had taken power that she was about as healthy as she could be, if a bit thin from cats liking to 'forget' to feed them occasionally.
Perhaps the one benefit of their waiting, was that Rustyheart and Juniperpaw had a far more concrete plan. They would head to the Regime and get their support, then hopefully to SummerClan for the orange feline's family and anyone else they could convince to help. It would be better yet if they could get Tinybreath fully on board to make things go both more smoothly, and more quickly. Even if she couldn't convince her sister, the former Guardian wasn't sure she could wait any longer. The clan was in dire straits, and she had to do something, even if it cost her her life in the attempt.
It took most of her energy to nod her small head. Juniperpaw kept her eyes glued on Wyverndelirium. He was so strong, a cat she looked up to like most of the clan back in the good old days. But those days were gone now. And so was the old, meek Juniperpaw. She kept herself close to her 'patient'. Every once in a while, when someone looked to her direction, she turned her body to face away. Call it a cowards move, but to her, it was a power move. She knew her clan was a lost cause now and she wanted nothing more to do with what they had become. When she and Rustyheart leave, she will become stronger, strong enough to take back her den and prove her worth as a medicine cat. And then they'll fear the power of life she holds.
Wyverndelirium's exhaustion worked in their favor, perhaps, because he was far too tired to take notice of how defeated his younger sister looked. Her pale blue eyes stared blankly at the tom as he gave her the orders, her mind barely registering the stern firmness of his voice as she was being chastised. "...Yes, Wy," a soft voice meowed evenly in reply, her small form turning and heading towards the Medicine Cat Den without another word. Her mismatched paws dragged along the cold stone, lumbering along as if a heavy weight was placed on her back. In a way, there was. The weight of knowing that she couldn't protect her kits hit her harder than any wave could.
Unbeknownst to Wyverndelirium, Rustyheart, or even Juniperpaw was that only a few short hours earlier, Riverstar had approached her alone, wanting to have a 'chat' with her. In reality, the chat was less of a conversation than it was an ultimatum; Slipkit, Scorchkit, Skipkit, and Shatteredkit were going to be promoted...tomorrow. Despite only being five moons old. He has assured her that they would be mentored by his most trusted advisors, his loyal rouges. It all ended with a vague threat that should she attempt to argue with him on the matter any further, she would end up in the same state as her sister. The tone of his voice, the triumphant, conniving smirk on his muzzle...it made her sick to her stomach. In a few short minutes, he made her perfectly aware of just how powerless she really was.
Without a word, she sat down at the entrance of the den, head bowed and facing outward. Though neither occupant could see her face, after a moment of silence Tinybreath's form began to shake in silent sobbing.

"What did Riverwolf do?" Rustyheart had a sneaking suspicion she knew, given the topic of their last meeting all the same, her tone was softer, gentler than its usual rough and angry sound. She cared about her sister, even if she was stubborn, or willfully ignorant. She knew her sister well enough to know Tinybreath was crying, no matter how soundless it might be, and that broke her heart. Even if what she said had already been predicted, that didn't change how horrible the action likely was.
