Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
Her tail lashed impatiently behind her as she waited for her sister to appear. She was already over an hour late, which wasn't like her, meaning their mother had her caught up doing something she obviously didn't want to do.
"She's going to get a cuff behind the ear for this." She mumbled bitterly under her breathe.
The long legged tortoiseshell arrived as though she wasn't irritatingly late, eyes of pine with their sparkly ivy and gold flecks almost downright playful. If not for her slight frown, one might have thought she'd been late on purpose, but that simply wasn't the case. It was difficult at best to shirk duty in the best of times, though she usually managed. She could only be glad for the fact she didn't currently have an apprentice to keep her bound up in things. Not that her mother wasn't fond of giving her cats to train just to annoy her.
"I'd say I'm sorry for being late, but it's really not my fault, so blame everyone else for keeping you waiting." Lastaffair commented as she arrived, the thick, black scarf-like fur around her neck rippling with the unappreciative glance over her shoulder. "Seems as though I've managed to get away finally. Let's get going before they figure out we're missing and try to find us."
"You know I don't like staying in one place longer then I need to. What took you so long anyway?" She asked as she bounced her paws from side to side as if she was antsy to get going. The anxiety was welling up in her. She needed to get moving and leave Sunclan for a bit. It was always so suffocating staying within the territory for long period of times.

"Zendikdominance kept trying to insist I help him with the initiates today. I don't know why I should be tasked with them, they're the Senator's job. Needless to say he wasn't too pleased when I told them they should just try their luck now, die, and get it over with so we don't have to deal with them anymore." Their half-brother, from Foxstar's youngest litter with Deal, was a follower. He would rather do as he was told and leave the trouble to the time left than actually disobey their mother. At least, that's how Lastaffair saw it, and she was rarely wrong with her observations.
"I swear he's the most annoying devil spawn that Foxstar has ever created." Windpipe said with a roll of her eyes. She walked beside Zendikdominance as their paws guided them towards their destination. "So, where do we go today?" She asked.
"I wouldn't tempt fate. I'm sure our mother will manage to find someone far more irritating." Lastaffair warned as she trotted at Windpipe's side, looking forward in thought. "City? Unless you want to go around ruining the days of some of the cats in the other clans. We could visit dear brother Dealfinder in WinterClan, for example." Though their half-sibling had left SunClan for WinterClan, leaving behind his kits in the process, he could hardly get away from them so easily. But annoying their own family only lasted so long. Things like twolegplace were far more unpredictable, though they were less likely to be noticed by those who might report back to their SunClan relatives as well.
"Ehhh, not sure I want to deal with Dealfinder today." She said with a slight chuckle at her own pun. Her calico fur blew in the wind and she let out a satisfied sigh as the nature around them engulfed them. Her eyes closed as she let a purr rumble in her throat. "Oh, I love it out here. It feels so much less stressful when you're not within Sunclan camp."

"Agreed." Lastaffair answered with a short nod. "If there's one good thing about this whole Sun God business, it's that we're essentially encouraged to go out and ignore boundaries. Of course, they probably didn't expect us to take such advantage." Truly, she did like that one bit. The deity was always wandering around, showing up at random moments and thriving on the chaos. That had seeped into their laws, now suddenly more lax with things such as trespassing, requirements of being honorable to others, and things of the sort. Not that they got away from all restrictions, unfortunately. The few they did have were irritating to work around, to say he least. Getting away from it all did make things feel less stuffy.
"I still can't believe how much mom has tricked the cats of Sunclan into believing such nonsense." Windpipe said with a roll of her eyes as the duo crossed the border of Sunclan into the unknown lands that bordered them and Dayclan. "She's good at twisting things to help with her agenda. Then again, I guess any cat would love to be given a reason to ignore scent borders." She was being a bit hypocritical, especially since out of everyone in Sunclan her and Lastaffair were two of the cats who abused the rule the most, but that wasn't going to stop her from complaining about her mother's leadership when given the chance.

"It helps there's a literal God walking around and endorsing it." Lastaffair had never cared much for StarClan herself, or really thought about religion all that much. But when one came face to face with a being that could set fires on a whim, who literally glowed at night, she couldn't just pass that off as a dream, even if she'd like to. The Sun God also seemed rather useless. Present, certainly, but pretty much endorsed everything Foxstar did. Which, if one considered her leadership, couldn't be farther from anything StarClan would have wanted.
"You've seen this cat but I have yet to see this mysterious "Sun God" that everyone raves about." Windpipe said with her fur bristling slightly. Was she jealous at having not met the Sun God? She wasn't sure, but every time the cat was described she couldn't stop the anger that rose in her chest. "I'm starting to think you just hallucinated the damn thing." Windpipe admitted through a hiss. They had to have been hallucinating him. After all, if a glowing cat that could set fires really existed in their territory surely she would have seen him by now.
