Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.

( Internal Affairs District - The Burning Tower )
It had been too long since they'd gotten up to some trouble. Senescence told herself that she was only seeking Innocentia out because the pretty white cat was one of the few who could keep up with her, keep things interesting no matter was sort of mischief they got into. Of course, this was entirely false, but that was something she'd never admit. At least, not without a significant push, one that had yet to come. For now, the Proxy had merely summoned Innocentia by way of Agamede-kun, her pseudo daughter. At least, the kittens from that litter she'd found had taken to her, she hadn't really appointed herself their parent. All the same, the young feline had been sent to guide her usual companion up the treacherous steps into the place she called her home.
Briefly, it occurred to her that she hadn't yet shown Innocentia the tower, this would be the first time she got to see it. Lounging casually on the bed, her mismatched eyes flickered with copper flames as she watched the fire in the hearth, the crackling accompanied by the soft patter of rain. She hoped the former Proxy liked it. Since this was a far more permanent setting, and this den purely her own, she'd gone through the effort of getting her trinkets from all the different places she'd had them over the years, stored now in her tower. There were half a dozen skulls, various bones that appeared to be from felines of all sizes, a kittypet collar, claws, teeth, things of that sort. Every death to have happened was displayed here in one form or other, there was even a dried badger's paw resting proudly on the mantle.
(When you invite your pastel goth friend to your Victorian goth bedroom xD)
Innocentia wiggled her hindquarters as she leapt up the last big step scrambling up to the top with the tiny bell around her ribbon jingling slightly. For all the time she'd been around Senescence the bell had never rung once, some could even infer it didn't work. Instead it was a good reminder on how to operate silently. She stood on her toes trying to crane her head up to see how far she had left to go, but found she was already there and pranced inside to Senescence's room.
"Oh Senescence, it's just like you!" Innocentia exclaimed in her childish British accented voice. She had never seen the trinkets all out for display and while she never took any trophies home she did enjoy decorating her carnage after eating with some moss and flowers to make the heads look more pretty for whatever poor apprentice accompanying the patrol to find. From what she heard, it wasn't working, "This room perfectly matches you."
"Should that be taken as a compliment or an insult?" She deadpanned, tilting her head slightly, though the corners of her mouth twitched, suggesting she might be hiding a smile. Of course, Senescence never really smiled, so it was probably a figment of Innocentia's imagination.
"Well, you know how people sometimes come up with mean connotations for a person's name. Like if you have a friend named David and he's clumsy so when someone else does something clumsy you're like, "That's so David." For you if I saw something so perfect and brilliantly violent I'd say, "That's so Senescence." So this is so you," Innocentia explained.
She gave a few small twirls looking around the place in awe, her yellow eyes were bright as starlight, "I love it," Her twirl came to a stop, "I wonder if we'll live forever sometimes, y'know? You either die or leave this place and I think both of us have outlived a lot of cats. I sometimes wonder what kind of cat will off me or what will make me leave this place again. It's so much better than it used to be, or maybe it's because moms not here. What about you, did things feel better when your mom left too?"

"Nothing much changed. Same cats being irritating, just with less parental smothering from Green's presence." Senescence shrugged. "Though I have a feeling you won't be dying any time soon. The day someone can bring you within an inch of death, is the day I start dying my claws and decorating them." She continued, looking surprisingly serious about the notion. "I expect you to hold me to that one, and not die before it happens."
(Look, I do reply to old threads once in a lifetime. Also, now we can have a new thread with Inno decorating Sen's claws or something. cx)
