(@blankslate, Elyon-kun has completed her challenge, Zira (made up current assassin who replaced batair) goes to Marchosais to say it's impossible to do the job. He's asking too much, then Elyon-kun comes over to them and pulls them both over to the pool where she's filled it with eyes she's taken. Then the nemesis to finalize Elyon's promotion to assassin, has Elyon kill Zira and take her eyes as well.)
Zira was a scarred lithe golden she cat with dark amber eyes. Her teeth were barred together in an angry grimace. When she'd been picked for assassin, she hadn't expected Marchosais to demand the impossible of her. Her skills lay in her silver tongue, which she had hoped to get the nemesis to make her a proxie, or shaman, but nooo she'd been shafted with assassin. She had managed to sweet talk several rogues and adventurous kittypets to their deaths, but pulling out their eyes required a care she didn't quite have and several had been mangled in her efforts.
She padded towards Marchosais's den to tell the nemesis he was demanding the impossible of her, make him see sense.
///---///
Little did she know a ways away from camp, Elyon-kun dropped another pair of eyes into the gorey red pool, that was filled with floating eyes plucked from the heads of many cats. Clan cats, rogues, kittypets, loners, other rev groups. None had been spared from Elyon-kun's mission.
She was going to first drop off some good meat she'd gotten from her catches to Innocentia, repayment again for her help. She picked up the bloody bundle of what she'd pullled from her catches and trotted back to camp. First she'd give Innocentia her repayment, then she'd go tell Marchosais she'd earned her promotion to hunter! And before the nemesis had even announced the challenge to other trainees about their trial for advancement. Marchosais would be so impressed! The thought made the young golden she cat shiver with delight. Maybe he'd praise her, tell her she was a great hunter an asset to the league. The thought made Elyon dizzy with excitement and she quickened her pace.

The slim Siamese tom sat upon a aging couch within the room he had claimed as his own. A room seemingly untouched by time only a small table along the right wall, the couch on the back wall directly across from the door and an armchair to his right. Old portraits hung on the walls and a boarded up window lay behind him to act as a backdrop. All in all it was something of a bore should it be compared to some of the grander finds within the estate house or even other rooms within the main house. But this one was hidden away, down a hallway with nothing but dust and cracking walls; this one fit the nemesis well.
Let him hear the pawsteps coming towards him so he could arrange himself on his own sort of thrown that the couch was and face the door, ready and waiting for whoever came to his domain. Knowing only a few cats knew exactly where it even was.
Zira entered the room and came to a stop before Marchosais. "I've come to inform you that the what you've asked of me is impossible. I've killed several cats and have lost their eyes in the extraction. I will be your assassin but, you must understand eyes are not like ripe berries to be plucked from trees. it is a difficult process, and one that would take a great deal of time, and effort to complete. Effort better spent elsewhere." She meowed politely but firmly. "I-"
"Nemesis Marchosais!" Elyon-kun cried barging into the room before Zira could continue. The young fluffy golden and white she cat was still stained with blood particularly around her paws and around her muzzle. Though she'd carried the eyes and meat in a bundle to prevent it from tearing, the blood had leaked out and stained her giving her a dark and gorey appearance. "Come see! Come see! I completed your test early!"
"What?" Zira whipped around to look at the golden and white trainee. "What test?" She barked, then realizing something. "And you shouldn't be here! We're discussing an important matter!"
Elyon's ears lowered, and she crouched for a moment a sign of submission before straightening up. "But I passed the test to become a hunter! Please come see!" She said turning to Marchosais bouncing on her paws. "It took me a lot of work, but I really really want to show you!"

"Oh?" He hummed amused as he watched the trainees exuberant behavior before he slipped from the couch and padded towards her. Marchosais E'tan barley paying any mind to Zira as he brushed past her and towards Elyon-kun. "The test to become a hunter?" he asked curiously as he peered at the bundle she had in her jaws. He wondered if she was bringing him a dead kit, she wouldn't be the first to do so. And if it was indeed the case it was going to mean he would have to make a public announcement that he didn't want cats bringing him dead younglings.
"Show me then little dove," He spoke louder, tilting his head as he considered her. Side eyeing his assassin and wanting to giggle at the expression on her face.
Elyon beamed, and nodded her head. "This way, this way!" She said eagerly waving her tail as she took off at a trot, glancing back to make sure Marchosais was following as she led him and the reluctant Zira out of the manor and towards the pool where she'd placed all the eyes she'd collected.
When they arrived, Elyon pushed down the plants she'd used to conceal the pool revealing it to Zira and Marchosais.
"Look! I filled it with eyes, just like you said!" Elyon-kun said eagerly tail waving behind her. "That was the test right? To become a hunter?"
Zira was aghast and she looked at Marchosais mouth hanging open. This... this young trainee had managed to do what she had claimed was impossible. "That can't be completely filled with cats eyes!" She peered into the gorey water, "You must've included something else to help you fill this pool."
Elyon-kun puffed up. "No I didn't! It's all eyes! Like Marchosais said!" She said.

A smile carved it's way across the siamese's features as he looked from the pool to Elyon before turning to raise a brow at Zira. "Well, it doesn't seem nearly as impossible as you claimed it to be. But it seems we now have a problem on our paws." He sighed as if put out. Once again his eyes went between the two cats, considering his options. Zira had proven herself a quitter and a liar, and now this young cat was doing the job he had set out for the assassin.
The next course of action seemed obvious if a little odd. "Elyon has completed the challenge I set out for the assassin to prove themselves. This makes her more qualified to be assassin than you at this point Zira." He spoke watching the current assassin a dangerous glimmer in his eye. "Elyon could you perhaps get me one last pair of eyes." He asked kindly turning back to the golden tabby she-cat and casting a significant look back towards Zira. What he wanted clear.
Zira’s eyes widened in horror staggering back. “I-surely this must be some trick!” She cried, while Elyon-Kun looked at Marchosais. “Okay!” She chirped. She wasn’t sure entirely what the nemesis was getting at, but if getting promoted meant having to take down the weak assassin, she’d do it. There was no warning no shift in her cheery demeanor. She bounced onto Zira, and bit down into her flesh. It’d look like playing if it weren’t for Zira’s screeching and flailing that was silenced by Elyon-kun tearing through her throat, the she cat gurgling and going limp. When the former assassin was gripped in death’s clutches, Elyon moved up to her head, clawed out the eyes and then delicately placed them in the pool. “Do I get to be promoted now? Did I do good?” She asked eagerly
