(Frozenfire and Flame bring Burningstar's kits back to NightClan from MoonClan as part of their raid. The two she cats introduce Ashkit, Fierykit, Blazingkit, and Scorchedkit to their real mother for the first time. Spot, simplylight , @oceanix please reply)
Frozenfire adjusted her grip on Scorchedkit's scruff. Night had fully fallen, keeping her and Flame and the kits in darkness. Frozenfire had sent the rest of the patrol ahead with their stolen prey and herbs. Now it was time for her and Flame to deliver the kits back to Burningstar.
"Come on," She muttered around Scorchedkit's scruff. "We're taking you guys to your mother."
"Our mother?" Fierykit squeaked. "But what about father?"
Frozenfire snorted. "Your mother can explain." She said as she nudged Fierykit forwards carrying Scorchedkit up the path that would lead behind the waterfall where NightClan had made it's temporary camp.
Flame walked along Frozenfire silently, her teeth gripped around Ashkit's scruff while she walked behind Blazingkit, encouraging her to keep moving by gently nudging her with her paw every time the kit slowed down. Flame's icy turquoise gaze was hard as stone and even a blind cat could see the monster she had become. Her claws scraped the earth as she walked and her broad muscles rippled under her fur. "You think Burningstar would allow me to stay after this mission?" Flame asked, not taking her eyes off the path infront of her.
"You brought her kits back home, she'll be happy to take you in." Frozenfire said easily, giving her a sideways look as she did. She wouldn't say it in front of the kits, but it was a silent reminder that they needed to keep quiet about how exactly they'd managed to come into possession of the kits. The kits might talk but ultimately Flame could make it sound like as a former MoonClan cat she'd had concerns. Ultimately Burningstar would have to save her own face for why her kits had been in MoonClan anyways so, the ginger she cat would likely be inclined to accept whatever excuse Flame granted her. "Besides Burningstar's a soft heart, she wouldn't turn you away." Even if it was mousebrained but Frozenfire didn't pretend to understand the ginger leader's soft hearted ways.
"I met her in the forest with these kits before. Back when I was a Moonclan cat. They had snuck out of camp. She didnt like me too much, then. Claiming Moonclan didnt know how to raise kits properly. Thats probably what is going to save your tail about raiding Moonclan camp. Burningstar already has her doubts about how the queens raised her kits" Flame replied, still refusing to peel her eyes away from the path to Nightclan's camp.
Frozenfire sighed rolling her eyes heavenwards. 'Say it a little louder so everyone can hear' she thought to herself. "Point is, it'll be fine. Everythings going to plan." She said as she pushed thrpugh the undergrowth arriving at where the waterfall emptied into the pool. NightClan cats milling about the temp camp location. A few cats moving along the path to enter the cavern behind the waterfall.

Ashkit's paws waved absently in the air. "Why do we have to go find her? Shouldn't she be here anyways?" Ashkit snorted with a flick of her tiny tail. "I wanna go back home. This is boring."
@oceanix Frozenfire beckoned Flame to follow as they entered the NightClan camp behind the waterfall. She adjusted her hold on Scorchedkit. Fierykit looking at the cavern that was hidden behind the waterfall.
"Aww, but I wanna go back home to daddy!" Whined Fierykit as she followed after Frozenfire, though even as she whined she looked all around at the camp they'd entered.
Curious gazes made Flame's ginger fur burn as they entered the camp behind the waterfall. As much as she wished she could tell the others to mind their own business, she knew that she was here to make peace with Burningstar. Her eyes adjusted in the dim light. She could make out the bristling pelts of the Nightclan cats as they made their way across the cave. A couple furious hisses could be heard as well. Flame bit back the retorts building up on her tongue.
A slim, yet muscular silver tabby tom, was feasting on a mouse at the fresh-kill pile chatting with a beautiful white she-cat. He cut off their conversation by instantly rising to his paws when he noticed the two she-cats making their way into the cave. He recognized Frozenfire immediately but the second she-cat he had never met before. Then after closer observation, he noticed that they were carrying small bundles of fur. Prey? No. Kits! Not just any kits, either. The scent of Moonclan hit his nostrils and his fur began to rise. The tom padded over to greet the she-cats. However, his expression wasnt exactly friendly. Confusion and hostility lingered in his sky blue eyes. "Frozenfire" he began, forcing back an irritated growl. "Who are your friends?" His gaze flicked from Flame to the kits and back again.
Frozenfire immediately set down Scorchedkit and straightened up. "Larkwing, we need to speak to Burningstar at once. She needs to know that she doesn't need to grieve, or hide her pain anymore." She leaned forwards. "We've found her stolen kits." She whispered to him even as many NightClan cats looked on, puzzled by the newcomer and the four kits they'd brought with.
Surprise flashed in Larkwings eyes, "you stole Burningstar's kits from Moonclan?" Larkwing wasnt angry that they had brought the kits to Nightclan. He was more worried about the conflict it could cause between clans. Nightclan was in no shape for a battle.

Ironjaw's ears pricked as she overheard Larkwing. What? A part of her was angry that she wasn't in on stealing them back, but the other part was surprised. That meant those kits were her half-siblings. "How can we be sure that these are the kits?" She questioned gruffly, moving to stand next to Larkwing. She needed to hear it for herself that these were for sure Burningstar's kits.
At the ruckus Burningstar had emerged from her den, and Frozenfire jerked her head towards the leader. "Ask her yourself," She said. "Burningstar," She called to the ginger she cat.
Burningstar hurried over at the mention of her name, then her eyes widened as she took in the kits that Frozenfire and Flame had. "My kits," She breathed, stunned and at a loss for words.
Fierykit looked at the ginger she cat, then she beamed. "Hey I know you! You're that cat that was hanging around me and Blazingkit that one time! Hi miss strange cat!"
"We found them in MoonClan," Frozenfire meowed. "I recognized the pelt of Blazingkit, and knowing how much you and your sister liked naming after your parents, it wasn't hard to make the connection from pelt color and naming."
Burningstar was just at a loss for words looking at the kits that she'd thought she'd only be seeing from afar, now suddenly dropped right at her paws.
Before Larkwing could reply to Ironjaw, Burningstar appeared. He perked his ears as his leader approached, dipping his head respectfully. "What would you like to do with them?" Larkwing asked Burningstar. Would she agree to keep them and possibly cause a war between the two clans or would she turn them away?
Flame watched as Burningstar stared down lovingly at her kits. She began to wonder if Burningstar was ever going to notice her. And if she did, would she send her away? She shifted her weight awkwardly.
