Littlebird waited on the Janus to arrive. She wanted their opinions on the next step to take now that SunClan had began to recover from their defeat at the paws of the regime. Her immediate concern had been getting the clan back togather, healing the injured, and ensuring that their own boarders were secure.
Now it was time to figure out how to rescue their leader.
Skipstep arrived immediately, coming to sit by Littlebird’s side, nuzzling against her as he came up, before settling beside her tail resting against her flank. A sign of his solidarity with her. “The other Janus will be here soon, but I wanted to get here first,” he purred. “I wanted to be by your side.”
Littlebird leaned into his warmth and nuzzled his neck. The other cats had made it rather clear that they were unhappy with this moons event's, and it was nice to know that at least one cat would always be on her side "Thank you" she whispered.

Acaiburst coughed a little awkwardly as he arrived to see Skipstep and Littlebird being affectionately with one another. He wasn't really sure how to feel or what to do but he approached slowly and cautiously, dipping his head respectfully to each of them in turn. "Littlebird, Skipstep." He greeted.
She felt no embarrassment at being caught being affectionate with skipstep. He was her mate, and they had not been doing anything inappropriate. However it was clear that Acaiburst felt uncomfortable so she didn't move to get closer to him again. She smiled slightly, awaiting his answer. "Yes, we have much to discuss about the future of the clan"
Overkill? She didn't know the meaning of it. Autumngossamer strutted out, her intricate black henna like design across her pelt displayed just how tightly her entourage was curled around her finger. She had gathered quite a few friends, prey, whatever anyone would like to call it that worked hours on her pretty designs. They were the kind no cat could blindly put on themselves and could only accomplish through the servitude of others. She quite literally wore her followers devotion, their worship towards her on her pelt.
Stepping forward in the sunlight she lifted her rounded head. When she came in she had looked to be an orange tabby, but now her pelt shined like gilded fire, brooks of ruby tore across her pelt wild as lightning with flecks of gorgeous bronze and silver lighting the tips of her fur. Her eyes were a unique brown shade that penetrated her efforts to appear gorgeous and regal and instead displayed a youthful gaze, far from the superior front she tried so hard to push.
"Hey losers," Autumngossamer said carelessly before smiling towards Littlebird and Skipstep, "Littlebird and Skipstep, hello," She said politely. Dipping her head, her shimmery white teeth displayed in a grin that only the other janus could catch. She knew who she could get away with insulting and who would have her head by now.
Skipstep appraised her designs. Intricate, and detailed, definitely not accomplished by her own paws. As she had no family in the clan he wondered who she'd roped into doing it for her.
He was a little impressed that she'd come so far since she'd been brought in with DayClan as a captive. His whiskers twitched as she made a point to address him politely alongside Littlebird. Granting him the courtesy. while her connections granted her lovely designs and popularity, Skipstep's warranted recognition as the Priestess Promised chosen mate, as well as one of the oldest among the Janus. Though he had no need for recognition or political power. He'd taken his position solely to ensure the Sun God might grant him favor and protect his family from harm.
"Autumngossamer," Skipstep returned. "Your designs are quite fetching, you'll have to point me in the direction of the one who designed them at some point. I'd love to learn their tricks," Not for himself, but he'd love to improve the designs his mate and sister wore on their fur. Plus it sounded like a rather enjoyable way to spend some time.

Acaiburst himself rarely wore designs on his pelt and when he did they were usually very simple and were not much to look at, unlike Autumngossaer's which Skipstep had pointed out. The brown tabby couldn't help but nod in agreement, curious himself as to who had done the dines. "I'm going to have to concur with Skipstep, they're beautiful." Despite her not being particularly kind or his type, he could not deny that she was a rather pretty she-cat in that moment either.
It didn't take much observation to figure out that she hadn't done the design herself, but most cats did not. It was nearly impossible to reach all areas of one's pelt, so it was common practice to have other's assist you. She glanced towards the entrance waiting on Dragonswrath and Twilightbell to make an apperance . It wouldn't be proper to start without them, since they were over the janus. She didn't mind the small talk, although she had much bigger things on her mind than who did whos designs
"Thank-you," Autumngossamer purred, "It was done by um... Well it was done by Duskslayer, but only if he's in his Shootingcomet persona. I swear that cat can drive me up a wall sometimes, but when he's Shootingcomet he's my right hand man."
After a moment hear ear flicked to the side in annoyance, who the heck were they waiting on, all the Janus were here? Unless this were also waiting for Dragonswrath and Twilightbell.
"We will be discussing recent events and how to proceed forward, however we must await Dragonswrath and Twilightbell to arrive before we may begin" as much as she would have like to just started the meeting, she could not proceed without the clan's soothsaer present. It wouldn't be proper, and the Janus wouldn't have to follow her commands without his confirmation.
"He's literally always late for everything. How are we going to teach him to be on time without consequences. We don't even have to start talking seriously, but let's start the overview. That way when he comes in he can be all like, "oh my God, I don't own the world, I'm not actually special enough to be waited on for an hour, what a revelation!" Sun God, have mercy I'm already bored," Autumngossamer whined before flopping down, cause screw it, this was a casual meet up until Dragonswrath and Twilightbell showed up, apparently.

Acaiburst watched Autumngossamer with a hint of amusement. "Just as they could stand to be on time, you could stand to have a little more patience." He meowed, his tone light and clearly meant to be humorous as opposed to critical. He stretched his large tabby paws in front of him and chuckled lightly. Truthfully, he felt a little anxious for them to arrive as well but the young Janus didn't particularly have anything else to do. These days, he was simply relishing in the feeling of being healthy. He had always been very sick and weak since the moment he was born - no one expected him to survive and they were appalled when he was chosen to be a Janus as a kit. Now, he was a large and healthy tom and no cat could deny that.
"You know as well as I that it would be rude to even begin speaking about events without them" she paused, becoming a little impatient herself. She was the priestess promised, and f course the only cat in the clan that could keep her waiting was. "We will need their guidance"
"Still... I hope they join us soon," Skipstep muttered, "We do need their guidance, but we need to get this discussion underway, it's long overdue if you ask me."
