Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. It was getting colder and colder by day, yet all Mako wanted to do was go outside and explore. Well, perhaps not explore, per se - she knew that kits like her weren't allowed outside of camp unless they had a reeeeally good reason. She wasn't an idiot. But still, there was so much of the camp she hadn't seen! What did the inside of the warriors den look like? The apprentices' den looked pretty climbable, had anyone ever tried? Did Oreostar really have a secret tunnel in her den that led to the nursery, or had Peachblush just made that up to get her to go to sleep?
She sighed, peering outside cautiously. The only source of light in the camp was the moon, still high in the sky; around her, there was no sound but the rhythmic sighs of her denmates' breathing. Taking a little trip outside looked pretty tempting, but could she risk it?
