Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
(Feel free to be mean to Bijou, that is honestly the point of the thread. So if you want a character that had maybe strong feelings against the Rogue group in Springclan. This is their chance to insult one/bully one).
Bijou didn't know what to do. When he was in Springclan living among the rogues he didn't have to hunt. He was a favored a hound for most of his life. Prey was brought to him and the other favors and the generals. They were fed like kings and nobles. He had never perfected his hunting skills, and always viewed it as a skill that was beneath him. Now that he had left Springclan and joined Fallclan to be with his brother and sister. He felt for the first time in his life useless. Having a useless skill set that is. He was now on a hunting patrol with several Fallclan warriors and making a fool out of himself. He felt foolish as her leapt and scared off his 5th bird this morning. His pelt felt hot and underneath the surface he was silently burning.
Inksplash was still adapting to having a set role in the clan, being tasked with hunting rather than just being a 'warrior'. However, even though it was still a bit different. She kind of liked it. She was quick on her paws, and good at stalking a far better hunter than a fighter. She had just managed to catch a juicy mouse and was bending down to pick it up when the squawk of a bird and the rapid fluttering of wings made her jump. She turned to the source and let out an annoyed huff. The new cat, Bijou was it? Was an absolute menace this was the fifth time he'd scared off a bird.
A bird which had in turn likely scared off the prey for a long way around. Meaning they'd need to move a ways off to look for more prey. Thank StarClan she'd caught this mouse heartbeats before the new guy messed it up for all of them.
(So Silverlace and Suncrown are not added yet, but they are Fallclan cats).
Bijou watched the bird fly away as its squawk rang through the whole patch of forest. He felt frustrated that it was the fifth time that he had messed up. It didn't help that one of the Fallclan warriors had
Silverlace emerged from a tall patch of glass. She had no prey with her and looked annoyed. Her brother Suncrown followed behind her also carrying no prey. "Did you have to scare off all the prey!" She meowed turning on Bijou. "Your worse than a new apprentice!" She exclaimed.
Inksplash sighed, letting out an annoyed huff burying her catch. "How in StarClan's name have you managed to survive so long, if you can't catch any prey?" The black and white she cat muttered shaking her head. Even fighters or defenders were able to manage to catch something if they had to. How was Bijou so poor at this?
Although Wildhare felt it not right to chime in as well, he couldn't help but feel just as annoyed as anyone else. "Yeah, you took over a whole clan. You ran off Eternalstar. How in the world did you survive?"
Inksplash's ear twitched towards Wildhare and she turned her head blinking. What? She hadn't heard that. She'd heard the mutterings of the clan noting the addition of a rogue who refused to take a name, but she hadn't paid it much mind, too caught up in adapting to FallClan and spending time with her mother to really care about some rogue.
But now, what had once been annoyance started shifting into something colder, ice filled her veins. This was one of the cats who had terrorized SpringClan, drove all of them out to replace them with Cicero. She had been fortunate to escape, warned to leave by Mongrel.
Her expression became cold, "Well, I suppose that's answer in itself, they're used to bullying other cats for prey." She said, she didn't want to look at Bijou anymore, disgust filling her. She turned away, scenting the air searching for any prey scent she could find.
The skinny white tom had been taken back by the outburst from the brother sister duo. The enraged ragdoll she-cat was in his face he could see the anger flaring in her bright baby blue eyes. Seeing the plushed cream tom standing to her side. Nodding in approval about everything that his sister was saying to Bijou.
"Why don't you go back to where you came from you fox hearted rogue." Silverlace hissed in his face and then turned tail. "Come on Suncrown lets go hunt some place better." She stated then stormed away from the small hunting patrol with her brother following silently behind.
Bijou turned to the other two warriors that we apart of the patrol. A tom named Wildhare and a she-cat named Inksplash. He hadn't ignored their words either. Wildhare blaming him for Eternalstar's disappearance felt like the painful slice of badger claws dragging across his skin. The scars in his face subconsciously burned from the painful memories he had of Springclan. Even more so when Inksplash spoke of his and the other favors bullying other cats for food. "We didn't have a choice." He answered.
Wildhare lowered his ears, in part anger and part sadness. He knew Cicero was the scariest thing Bijou had probably seen. He might have been killed if he tried running away. "You had a choice when you realized who he was. A killer, and liar.. I know it wasn't your fault you ended up with Cicero, but you're here now. You've got to work harder than the rest of us to prove your loyalty." he shied way from Inksplash's icy gaze and padded closer to Bijou. "You know why, don't you?" he asked.
Inksplash's ears flattened, she shot Bijou a disgusted look. She curled her lip but couldnt think of a response that could sum up her disgust, her anger at cicero and his group, and all her other emotions that the revelation that he'd been one of them stirred up. So instead she whipped away and stalked off, unwilling to even look at Bijou another moment.
Bijou’s ear flattened from the ridicule he got from his new clanmates. His clan mates didn’t and wouldn’t understand the painful memories of his mother, grandfather and not being raised on Love but a bed of lies. He watched the she-cat storm away from him and Wildhare. Blue eyes turned to look at the other tom. “I was born and raised a fighter. Hunting has never been in my skill set. Why is Thushstar going to throw me out? I thought Fallclan was suppose to be accepting” He commented his words leaving a bitter taste in his mouth.
Hearing the words just before she left earshot made Inksplash stiffen up. Her face contorting with rage and she whipped around storming back over and stomping right up to him. "Considering that what you did was infiltrate SpringClan and throw us all out it'd be exactly what you all deserved!" She spat curling her lip. "We know what your kind is like, you might've convinced Thrushstar to give you a chance, but if you're expecting open arms you must think us all fools. We will watch you, and we will judge. You lost easy acceptance when you spat on the kindness SpringClan stood for, and stole our land, our cats and drove out everyone else. No one will blindly trust you, and if you expect such you can leave." Inksplash hissed before whipping around and this time making a point to runoff, the last part that had been bubbling up 'you won't be missed' she managed to hold back. Even in her anger she recognized it was too cruel. And she was already shaking from being so angry and spewing such mean things.
Inksplash was not a mean cat, her mother had raised her better than that. But the guttural anger she felt towards the ones who drove her from SpringClan, burned hot and deeply inside her. She'd said enough. She'd just make a point to keep away from Bijou from now on. Otherwise a part of her doubted if words would be all she threw at him if he happened to rouse her anger again.
After she felt she'd put a solid distance between herself and Bijou she opened her mouth to taste the air to try and resume hunting, trying to calm her anger.
Bijou's ears were pinned to his head. He found it pointless to continue arguing with the she-cat. He stormed away from the group. Angrily stomping his paws crunching through the grass.
Silverlace a distances off was hunting with her brother Suncrown. The pair of them tag teaming together hoping to bring down a larger piece of prey.
Wildhare padded quickly after Bijou. "Hey," he said with a heavy sigh before continuing. "Inksplash is hard to warm up to. Like I said earlier, you'll just have to prove yourself harder than the others."
