Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
Sunbeam waited just outside the entrance to the SpringClan camp, watching out for any signs of Appleshine or Viperstream. They were two Clanmates that she hadn't really gotten the chance to know, so she could feel the barest hint of nerves at the prospect of leading a patrol with them. Still, she'd been a full SpringClan warrior for almost a year now - these kinds of thoughts shouldn't even be entering her head. She shook her head to clear it, and continued to wait for the rest of her patrol. Which border should we check out first, I wonder...?
Viperstream made his way out of the warriors den toward the camp entrance. Time for another patrol, I suppose.. Considering how long he had been in SpringClan, he was surprised how little he knew about the patrol leader, Sunsbeam. But, since she's heading this patrol, she must be a reliable cat, he reasoned. Passing through the camp entrance out into the forest, he turned to see Sunbeam and gave her a friendly smile. "Hello, hello." he greeted his fellow Trusted.
(sorry for some reason this thread never showed up in my notifications that I'd been tagged!!!!! )
"Sorry I'm late!" Appleshine called bolting up to Sunbeam and Viperstream. The ginger and white she-cat skidded to a stop, showering leaves everywhere. She was tasked to go on a patrol with the Clan's two Trusted members, which was both thrilling and nerve wracking. As Shadedsun's sister, Appleshine felt like she had a lot to live up to, she was however, always perpetually late... to everything.
Viperstream shook the leaves off of him and gave the newcomer a welcoming smile. "Nice of you to join us," he joked lightheartedly. "You must be Appleshine. Nice to meet you." Viperstream hadn't met her personally, but from his talks with Shadesun, he thinks highly of her, so she couldnt be all that bad.
"And you must be Viperstream," Appleshine returned the friendly greeting. "I apologize for being late, although I'm always late!" She said with a small shrug.
"You should probably work on that. It may not be a good thing in the future," he suggested. Turning to the patrol leader he then said, "We're all here now. Shall we begin?"
Sunbeam nodded somewhat stiffly, turning to leave the camp. "Don't worry about the lateness," she mewed to Appleshine, giving the latecomer a brief dip of the head. "If WinterClan was actively attacking us or something I'd probably be a little more peeved, but this patrol should be relatively peaceful." She paused for a second, looking left, then right. "Speaking of WinterClan, let's check their border out first. I don't want to have accidentally jinxed anything or whatever."
Viperstream tilted his head from side to side. "Yeah, I suppose that would be a good idea", he replied as he followed Sunbeam. "But I doubt they're up to something. Not yet, at least.
