Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
She was on a mission. Her golden gaze stared at the greenhouse that she pointed in the direction of. Apparently, Primal Instincts had changed locations, costing her an extra three days of journeying. She snorted in annoyance. Her grip tightened around the body of an unknown kit that she was carrying. The tiny feline bleeding from every orifice of it's body. She had done a number on it, that much was clear. She had heard that Vera was soulless and required an innocent sacrifice to join. Most of these sacrifices were kits, or so the rumors said.
How pathetic. She thought to herself. Killing kits didn't make you any stronger or prove your worth. If Vera truly only wanted the strong within the league then she would have required an adult be killed as a sacrifice, but Vera wasn't smart. That much was obvious.

"Do we know you?" Marchosais E'tan wondered as he spotted the other, tilting his head curiously. He had done away with initiations, welcomed others rather easily now. His proxies were good as sussing out those that perhaps didn't belong, but it left the nemesis with little basis on who was who. Then again he barley remembered who his proxies were half the time so perhaps the problem lied with himself and not them. The cat smelt sort of like the league, but still held a different sort of scent; a new member or an intruder. He supposed he would figure it out soon enough.

She placed the dead kit in-between her paws. "I'm here to talk to Vera. I would like to dedicate my life to the league." She sounded sincere. Her posture straight and her head held high in an attempt to show respect towards the supposed leader. She needed to join Primal Instinct, no matter what.

"Well Vera is no longer around so that might be perhaps a little difficult." Marchosais E'tan laughed with a crooked grin. "Would any cat do in her steed or do you wish to talk to a leader of some sort?" He questioned with a one shouldered shrug. Wondering if he could foist the responsibility of dealing with this off to one of his proxies. It was only a little delayed that he noticed the dead body and one of his eyebrows shot up, lip curling in distaste.

Her eyebrow arched at the news that Vera was no longer leader. “I would like to talk to whoever is in charge. I heard about the initiation and have brought an offer for the leader.” She explained as she angled her head towards the deceased kit.

"Ah yes, well we don't do that anymore." Marchosais responded perhaps a little awkwardly, as he shifted on his feet and looked down towards the corpse. "But! Luckily enough for you I'm the new leader, what we call the nemesis. So! Let's talk" He beckoned her to follow him back into the greenhouse, thinking it best to loose themselves within the thick overgrown plants away from curious outsiders to the conversation. "Leave the dead thing behind."

Lilith felt her cheeks flush a bit and she pawed the dead kit away from the duo. "My apologies. It seems my informant had informed me wrong." The she-cat said as she cleared her throat to hide her embarrassment. She took one last look at the deceased kit before following the tom into the greenhouse. The scent of herbs and other unique plant life filled her senses. Is this really Primal Instinct territory?
She thought to herself as she stepped carefully over a vine that was growing out into the walkway. "You have a fine assortment of herbs here." She complimented.

"And yet we lack anyone to tend to them." Marchosais laughed a little wickedly, finding great amusement in the paradox the situation presented. "How useless they are when they had no one who knows how to use them around to gather them." There was of-course Morgana but she refused to even offer to teach others the ways of the shaman, spiteful and bitter that he had forced her and her daughter out of their positions. But he refused to have the bloodline of traitors in power around him.

"Sorry to hear that. I could help a bit. I have some knowledge about herbs, having grown up as a rogue, but I probably don't have the skills that this Morgana person has." Lilith said as she ducked under a limb growing under head.
This place could use some cleaning up. The herbs are overgrown.
She felt her heart fall into her stomach at the thought. Why did she care if the herbs were overgrown? She wanted Primal Instinct to burn. The less herbs the better, but she couldn't help but feel anxiety at the greenhouse being so unkempt.

Marchosais E'tan turned towards her with curious eyes, "I wouldn't want to burden you with something as trivial as this." He responded with a small shrug. Not so much as referring to the herbs and importance of knowing them itself but more towards how open ended such a task would be. With no shaman to take over and now clear solution to when one would be brought in it seemed almost cruel to ask someone to help out; when that help could turn into a pile of even more duties with no end in site. "Just focus on your district duties. As long as no one gets hurt we'll be fine."

"If you say so." She said as they reached the end of the greenhouse where it was mostly herbs with a flower appearance. It was almost like they had stepped into a garden, if it wasn't for the two-leg contraptions that housed the plants. "What district would you like me in? My life now belongs to the league." She said tentatively. She wanted to appear as loyal as possible to the nemesis.

Marchosais looked at her like she had grown a second head, "why would I pick your district?" He asked rather baffled. "That's way to much work and responsibility." He huffed as he side eyed her like she was loosing her mind. Just imagining if he was in-charge of assigning districts had him nearly panicking. How boring such a job would be and no doubt filled with more complaining cats he couldn't care to listen to."Pick you own district."

She couldn't help but allow the question to spring into her head. "Are you sure?" If he allowed every member to join the district of their choosing then how could he ensure they weren't using that particular district for their own personal gain? She twitched her ear, attempting to seize the questions swimming in her head. Why was she questioning his decision? It was his fault if he made it more easy for Lilith to achieve her goals. She turned her head and locked her eyes on a clump of Borage growing from one of the ceramic two-leg contraptions. The petals were a mixture of dark blue with small streaks of white with a dot of black in the middle. "What about the internal affairs district?" She asked.

"What about it?" He responded flippantly before letting out a small laugh, "just kidding. You're in, I'll talk to Senescence later and ask her to get you all set up while informing she has another member among her numbers." The siamese hummed in affirmation. Gad he could get that sorted so quickly, another thing he wouldn't have to do, though he would have to ask Quartz to make sure it was all squared away more finally. "Wait do you even know anything about the districts?" He wondered realizing she hadn't even known Vera was no longer among them.

She did know some about the districts. After all, she had spent a considerable amount of time scoping out the league before joining, and now she felt beads of sweat crawl through her fur at the question. "Not really." Lilith admitted. It wasn't entirely a lie. She only knew what was spoken in passing by other wandering cats. The very same cats who said the internal affairs district knew all, which is exactly where she needed to be. Another half-truth to save her tail. "I just know of the names through my travels."

"Ah well I suppose that's convenient." He responded with a small smile though there was a shrewdness hidden behind his baby blue eyes. As much as he appeared to buy her story that was perhaps not truly the case. But Marchosais would not pursue the matter, she was already here and honestly he would rather leave the matter of sussing out her motives to another party. He had others things to take care of; like finding someone to build him that moat he wanted. "Do you need a tour?" He suddenly said more out of obligation than anything else.

She felt her body shake slightly, almost as if fear was gripping her body, but she kept her composure the best she could as Marchosais appeared to buy the story she had given him. She suddenly realized how bad she was at lying, which was probably why her mother could always tell when she was lying. Her ears perked at Marchosais's question and she eager shook her head yes. "S-Sure! I mean... I'd be honored to have a tour by the nemesis himself..." She said quickly pushing down her eagerness.

"Come along then dear." He hummed as he waved his tail and beckoned her to follow along after him. Slipping from the greenhouse and starting the trek across the open lands of the manor houses. "We shall start in the main house as the Estate House is a little darker and full of more easily snarky cats." The main house only held the kits, the highstaff; it was an easier place to navigate without having to worry about running into anyone who might hold them up.

She followed closely behind the nemesis, her attention focused on their surroundings as she walked. She needed to know every nook and cranny of the territory if she was to successfully pull off her plan. "Sounds wonderful." She said in response as they continued onward. What a first great place to be interested to, especially since she'd probably have to use some of the kits to make some of the members fall in line if push came to shove. Not that she felt entirely comfortable threatening kits, but nothing in her life mattered more then ensuring her mother received justice.
