Loki stared down at the clearing as the lone podarok, who seemed so small in comparison to the crowd, was named before his kin and promoted to the next stage of their life. She had to admit, though she often kept her emotions under wraps and portrayed a blank, cold face, she was disgruntled. Only one promotion? Were her subjects really so unworthy that they had scarcely made a name for themselves? Then again, she couldn't completely blame them... The Marble Hall seemed like a deserted wasteland in comparison to the rest of the bustling kingdom. Only two podaroks... She wondered if it was a sign of impending doom. Were the other clans and groups not thriving with young ones? Were they not overflowing with little tykes running around like chickens? She frowned and narrowed her eyes, but otherwise remained silent.
