Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
His ear twitched, momentarily forgetting the sad feeling that had overcame him previously. He pulled himself from the banks of the water and gave himself a quick shake. The waters had definitely cooled the tom enough to enjoy the sun warming his furs dry.
“I was a prison guard.” He explained. “When I was in WinterClan, I was unable to hunt daily like others. So whenever I had a day without duties, I would hunt for fun, and to get fresh air.”

"Prison guard," Bonefang said thoughtfully. "I've heard that WinterClan keeps prisoners." He abruptly stopped talking about that subject for fear of offending Fogeye. He disliked the act of keeping other cats locked up so he continued on a different track. "Hunting is fun," he agreed. "Here in SummerClan all warriors learn to hunt. We don't have two different kinds although we do have some special groups like the redguard and the garden keepers."
“What do... those special groups do exactly?” He asked, shaking out his furs again. He flopped down and set to licking the excess water away. He didn’t want to smell like a fish, after all.

"Well from what I understand, redguards go on special missions and are among the best fighters in the clan," Bonefang responded. "What's all involved, I really don't know. As for the garden keepers they help to tend to the plants, keeping them healthy." He reached back behind one of his ears and scratched an itch. "Especially the herbs Graythorn needs. They water them when it gets too dry and they kill any insects that try to destroy them. That way there's less chance of our running out of medicines we might need."
“Oh.” He thought for a few moments and looked away, before going back into the conversation. “So the garden keepers... are they like medicine cat apprentices then? Will they become a medicine cat?” He asked.

"Not really, I don't think. At least I hadn't heard that," Bonefang replied. "An apprentice learns a lot more than just tending to herbs. They have to know how to use them and also they need to learn how to interpret signs and prophecies from StarClan. Their training is a lot more intensive."
