Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
As far as these kittens know, they have no father, at least that they were told about. However, given their appearances, they're bound to make the connection soon enough. As always, be careful with mates. These kits are Dealspawn after all.

At first, Maia had been furious, both with the tom who'd gotten her pregnant, and for the fact she'd allowed this to happen. As time wore on, however, she grew to be excited for the litter. What a better way to serve the League than provide it with strong hunters? Besides, the idea of teaching her kits how to hunt and kill was more than a little bit appealing, the more she thought about it.
The kitting itself was rather uneventful, and her weakest was killed and taken away before long, leaving her with six healthy kits nestled at her belly. A faint smile overcame the she-cat's features as she laid there tiredly. Six healthy kits, and a rather easy kitting to boot. She couldn't have asked for more than that.
A feline moved into the den, her tail low to the ground. Of course, the weakest of the kittens had already been collected, despite Xithymia's objections about it. She hadn't objected due to an objection with the occurrance; she had just wanted it to be her first collection. After all, she was to the age where she was starting to adopt all of the jobs of a future Shaman should. She had not gotten her way, though, and the newborn had been collected before her appearance.
The white bengal blinked as she looked at the feline as she sat curled around her newborns. "Maia," she greeted, her voice the cold, distanced tone of a feline who had no attachments to felines outside of herself. "How are you feeling?"

(Yours!)
"Tired, but I suppose that's to be expected. Otherwise, I'm perfectly fine." Really, she just needed to rest, and she'd be right as rain by morning. Xythmia's cold demeanor hardly bothered the huntress, the League was full of cats unmoved by such things as kits. Considering that she would be tasked with killing weak younglings one day soon, and with ensuring the health of the League, it made sense to Maia that she was so detached. All the same, the she-cat lifted her head to offer the mage a smile.

"Good, good," she meowed, although she did not return the smile. It took a lot to prompt the feline's lips to twitch, mostly because she didn't see the point in such actions, at least not on the surface. Hilo tended to be the only one who could move her off the bat to such an expression. "I assume you were provided with all of the proper herbs, correct? Piroska has been less thorough as of late, and I wouldn't want to leave you without something."

"I was given borage, I'm pretty sure. If there was anything else I was supposed to be provided, I don't know what." Maia admitted. She didn't want to say Piroska had failed, but to be quite honest, this was her first litter, so she had no idea what the 'proper herbs' were really meant to be. As such, she chose to just mention the herbs she'd been given, in case there were more to be had. Besides, she was less concerned with the herbs, she felt fine, relatively speaking, and was more concerned with her kits' health than her own at the moment. They seemed to be doing perfectly alright, however, as was to be expected.
