Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
Xithymia had never quite requested someone's presence in the way she had requested the feline who sat in front of her. After all, there had been no one who immediately made her as intrigued as this cat. There was no specimen quite like her, and, if Xithymia liked to do anything, it was examine the specimens that seemed strange. Innocentia just so happened to fit every single classification Xithymia had created to determine if cats were oddities or not, or at least, from the rumors the mage heard, she figured she would.
"I assume you have some sort of idea why I have summoned you?" she asked, tilting her head slightly. Her eyes remained emotionless, though. She had eyes of the dead, souless voids that stared a little too intensely at other felines. They were unnerving to say the least, the kind of unnerving that often made cats steer clear of her. She supposed that was probably not the only reason that felines avoided her unless their life depended on her service. The rumors revolving the mage were just as unsettling as the rumors surrounding the huntress.
Innocentia padded inside the den, her trot had a cute bobbing rhythm as she walked that made her tail tip swish and her pink bloated bow bounce to her movement. She came to a stop not too far of a distance from Xithymia.
"I assume it's because I ate the wrong cat, but I don't like to assume my crimes before the sentencing so I'll keep my muzzle closed till you tell me," Innocentia purred with a cute tilt of her head.
Her eyes were bright, but narrowed into mischief, Vera's family knew her cute act. The rest of the league had yet to understand just what she was capable of. She sat down comfortably and placed a paw across her cheek making the fur below her eye press upward. She often messed around with her face when bored making funny expressions. Something she did as a kit and mentally the fidget was never rejected even as she grew... Or well grew an inch or something.

Her head tilted to the side slightly, her eyes narrowing immediately at the cat. She was not surprised by her response, persay. After all, she knew enough about Innocentia to know that she was a wildcard, a monster even by Primal Instinct standards. Murder, that was acceptable. Consumption of the flesh of other cats? Perhaps less acceptable.
"Did you just admit that you ate the wrong cat? What do you define as wrong?" she responded, moving so move her seated position to in front of the entrance of her little cave. Her mother would be out for a long time yet. The two of them would be alone for a significant period of time. Part of her was deeply unnerved by this idea. The other part knew that there probably wasn't all that much difference between the two of them.
"That hadn't been my intention to sentence you, but I am intrigued.."
"What do I define as wrong? I don't know, I guess I haven't encountered anything wrong. The last time I felt wronged was when I was six moons old and lost my chance of being mage to some empty bloodline like you. But I forgave my mom for not choosing me, I was pretty pathetic back then," Innocentia shrugged with a sighed out wistful gaze towards Xithymia giving her a playful wink, "But you're alright."

"Some empty bloodline like me." She repeated her sentiment with a raised brow. Hwoever, her eyes were still as vacant as every. There was almost never any emotion in her eyes. Perhaps it was because she had no emotion, at least not any that were on the surface few levels of the she-cat. "We took over the bloodline, as well. I am not related to the previous ones, other than Raelynn and Piroska." She spoke of her lineage with a cold detachment.
"If I was interested in your compliment, I would appreciate it." She then nodded briefly.
"If you haven't encountered anything you define as wrong have you done anything wrong yourself?"
Innocentia began to wonder if this was a mental health checkup, but decided not to ask, "I don't think so. Angered maybe, but I don't feel I've been very sinful. Then again good and bad are like it just doesn't feel like I've been at all sinful. But good and bad are all based on popular opinion, an illusion like time or the softness of clouds. If everyone ate people the person who felt eating cats was wrong would be considered the weird one. In my mind I'm not that bad, I was just born here. I only came back from kittypet because a real leader took charge."

This was all very interesting to her. Perhaps the cat wasn't all that wrong; the idea of wrong and right were not very objective. However, did that mean there was an absense of natural morality? She supposed this made sense; after all, most of the things that Xithymia-kun did were considered unethical and morally grey at best.
"Consumption of flesh, that doesn't strike you as wrong?" she asked after a moment, her tail flicking back and forth. "Neither good nor evil?" She gave a beat of pause. "What makes Vera any more real than the others?"
"We're all prey, plenty of animals eat eachother, eat their young, including mice. I'm simply just living to my primal urges. We don't try to insult foxes when they eat our own, shaming them and tormenting them. We kill them because even if we insulted them or tortured them, it wouldn't make any difference than killing them. They kill to eat, I kill, to eat. My problem is just that I'm always hungry," Innocentia said.
But how often did a Primal Instinct cat tend to kill? When they happened across a cat at the border, or went to war. But these things didn't happen everyday. Any chance Innocentia could kill, she would. She ate cats or nothing else. It was why she was an efficient killer. She didn't live to kill, she killed to live and it made all the difference.
She paused to think, "The leagues nemesis's were foolish males. Their fragile egos and coddled pride. They weren't rulers, they were little boys whose moms didn't teach them about respect. Even Severine and Roxanne were spoiled girls with a princess complex and some hardly last a moment. But Vera didn't just last, she wasn't a fool. Even when she didn't hurt for a purpose she had a plan and she doesn't need anyone's respect or fear, she'd rule this clan even if every eye glared at her. She'd conquer clans even if no one respected her. She's self sustained and is no brat."
