Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
Autumngossamer was the wicked little traitorous apprentice who abandoned DayClan for SunClan. Not for forbidden love or because of any romanticized reasoning, but for power. DayClan had been captured by SunClan and within moments she was their initiate shedding the name Heatherpaw. She smelled different, but her kitty face annoyed look was still the same Heather. Autumngossamer was her new name and she wasn't just apart of SunClan, she was a Janus. Selected by the Sun God himself and if you didn't know she was from DayClan you would have never guessed it. She had their same superiority complex talking down to other clans and treating DayClan like they were her playground. DayClan and SunClan were allies, but they were hanging by a thread, such things didn't seem to worry Autumn however as she was taking a scenic walk through DayClan's land. This was allowed given the alliance, but the way she showed no worry at the sounds of other DayClan cats and even took interest in the surrounding prey made it clear that she considered this part of SunClan's land. Not something held by an alliance.
"Just because Sunclan is an alliance, doesn't mean you can mosey on through Dayclan's territory like you own it" came an annoyed voice of a ginger she-cat resting in a tree, her tail dangling over the edge. This specific she-cat Autumn knew quite well. She had been there during her initiation when she had taken her own, though she had broken it for she knew her loyalty laid with Dayclan. She had been lucky to 'pledge' loyalty to Sunclan and escape from it. She had thought that sassy and smart apprentice would have done the same. She had been disappointed when Heatherpaw, at the time, decided to stay and change her name.
"What are you going to do about it? You know the Sun God chose me, if you lay so much as a paw on me you're going against the Sun God's wishes. That can land DayClan in a not so pretty place and you've already seen what that's like," Autumngossamer warned.
She still had the same kitty cat complexion of a much younger cat and the same brown eyes that hardly any cat could match. But her body was muscled toned, taller, and decked out in henna black detailed designs that she made some poor cat reapply to her on a regular basis. She rolled her eyes, "Whatever though, SunClan apologized to DayClan, we captured MoonClan for you as an apology gift. I don't get how you can still see us as bad guys when we go out of the way and do something like that."
Her entire voice seeped with a girlish mocking tone that had only perfected in age to a sneaky seductive tone that sounded honey sweet to the ears and venomous to the heart.
The expecting queen slid off the branch like a serpent and stood close to Autumn, narrowing her bright green eyes. "We did not ask you to give us Moonclan. I don't care if it was a sign of peace, it was wrong and you know it."
"They were hardly even a clan Windchaser. Besides whether you like it or not our leaders have a strange friendship, what was Foxstar supposed to do? Leave you all to starve after the damaged DayClan brought upon themselves? She recognizes Glowstar isn't the most competent and instead of leaving your clan at her mercy she helped aid you all even though you and the others turned their backs on the Sun God. I'm no stranger to the darkness in her heart and the evil that bleeds out from her veins and into others, but she didn't exactly save you out of strategy. In case you didn't notice at the time you were all weak and Glowstar's relationship was more unsteady with her than ever before. The kind deed of taking over MoonClan for your clan was for once not out of some manipulative act. Sooo, you're welcome," Autumngossamer pouted.
"We were only damaged because of Foxstar. She should have just left things alone. I'm glad Moonclan gained their independence back. We dont need help. Dayclan is just as strong as any other clan with or without another clan's territory.. As long as Glowstar is our leader, that wont ever change." She growled, disappointed that Autumn would be just as heartless as her new leader. "You chose your path, I chose mine. But that doesn't give you the right to prance around Dayclan territory like you own it, because you don't. Sunclan will never beat Dayclan again."
"You might be right about that, but I will prance around here because Glowstar allows allies to wander here. But. If you were to go on SunClan I would chase you off," She said in a sing song voice.
Her tail swished past her face, but she was smart enough to make the movement fast in case Windchaser bit her tail.
"Besides, the place looks great this time of year, are the trees blossoming yet?" She purred, "OH and what are you naming your kits and are you afraid of having living bundles of skin growing inside you that are going to burst out of you someday that you'll be forced to serve for six moons? Or is that just kind of a me fear?"
She fluffed up her cheek fur a bit as she stared into a puddle to check herself out.
The ginger warrior rolled her green eyes. "If I were leader, youd never be able to set a paw on Dayclan soil" she mewed through gritted teeth. She was surprised that Autumn would ask her about her kits. "It doesnt matter what their names will be." She stepped closer until their muzzles almost touched. "Lets get something clear right now. If I see you or any of your Sunclan fools near my kits, may the Sun God have mercy on your souls. Do I make myself clear?" She narrowed her eyes, staring hard at Autumn. "You may have once been a clanmate but you come near my kits and it will be the end for you."
"Duh Windchaser, I know that. I'm just curious... I've been interested in a tom, but I'm not interested in having kits of my own cause I'm scared. I left for power, I didn't leave for friends, I don't exactly have anyone closer than you to talk to. You're my only friend and you're not even my friend so that's kind of where I am in life socially. Envied by everyone, but liked by no one. Everything I. Ever. Wanted," Autumngossamer said almost bitterly, her feathers still behind her ear showing off the popularity feather. Maybe she wanted power, but she wanted to be beloved, not hated, "Anyways, whatever, you're not leader, you'll always be second place so I'm here as long as I want," She shrugged.
Windchaser sighed. "Its never too late to come back to us." Her voice was surprisingly relaxed. "I believe being loved is more important than power. And by what you just told me, it looks like someone at least loves you right? Your talking about having kits with him, arent you?" She looked down at her own swollen belly. "Its not all that bad. Its a little rough at first but it gets easier until you have to pop them out. But after that, its not that bad. Six moons goes by quickly if your paws are full."
"If I move back here, I'm no one, but the traitor. And it's not fair okay? I worked SO hard to be nice to everyone here even though I hated just about everyone, but I kept it to myself. I tried to follow the rule that if I had nothing nice to say I shouldn't say anything at all. But my sister was always so bossy, she ruled over my entire life. If I cracked just a little she'd put me in my place, I was always Celadinepaw's shadow. In SunClan I'm Autumngossamer. I feel like somebody and cats believe I'm somebody, even when they do't like me they look at me like... Like they see the real me. Maybe I'm a jerk, but I'd rather be hated for being me, than loved for being someone I'm not. And I'm not Heatherpaw and God it feels so good to say that," Autumngossamer said and gave a small smile to Windchaser, "Look... I try not to resent you or Illuminatedpaw. But I do get jealous that even though you tried to join SunClan just like me when we were captured that you're honored as heroes for making the right choice. When I know I made the right choice for myself, but got no congratulations. I really hate to say it, but."
Her toes curled into the grass, "It feels good to I don't know? Make peace with things one last time here. So I can get on with my life."
