Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
Glowstar lied on her back, her deep cinnamon auburn tail moving back and forth along the wild flowers. She was breath taking to watch, her fur was a gorgeous auburn sea among the bright and bold hues of the flowers. She took in a breath as though it were her last and smiled. Glowstar did this often, lying around sometimes for hours cloud watching. There was no doubt she was thinking about her time in Primal Instinct where life wasn't peaceful like this, where there was no down time or such things as no worries. Here everything felt right. Her emerald gaze moved to the soft sounds of paw steps. Even at the unknown presence her head didn't lift, "Lie down and watch the clouds with me," She said and yet it was difficult to tell if she knew who the approaching cat was or it simply didn't matter who that cat was because whoever they were she'd invite them over anyways.
Mittens ambled along without a care in the world, a bag hanging from her mouth. Today was a good day. Not only had Mittens gotten a new supply of catnip from the city, but she'd also found a good ol' piece of rotten meat. It wasn't often she came across rotten meant. Usually she only came across fresh meat 'cause for some reason, everyone hated the rotten stuff. But it was just as good for luring crows as shiny buttons, and everyone knew that there was only one place to get shiny buttons. Either way, Mittens was having a fantastic day. A fabulous day. A stupendous day. A monumental— Her foot caught on something and she tipped forward, the contents of her bag upending rotten meat and catnip all over the place.
"Meow!" she complained, turning to stare audaciously at Glowstar. Seriously. Who lays in the middle of the road? Not that there was a road. Or even a path. In fact, this was actually a pretty out of the way place. But still! The sentiment still counts! At least give a cat some warning, ya know.
"Mittens we've been through this, we're a fresh meat household. I'm not going to put up with your wild ways of rotten meat. I'm sorry, it's too much of a stretch. I will not make a comment on your er..."
Glowstar gazed at the catmint almost repulsively, "Addiction," She said, her gaze avoiding the contents of the bag, "but rotten meat is where I draw the line. You gotta go and put that stuff back."
