Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
He was expecting her. And just for the laughs, the White Tree was burning. Wreathed in brilliant fire from red to white, and yet it didn't fall, the limbs dancing with flame but not turning to ash, white flowers reflecting the multicolored lights that tickled their petals. As far as those unknown to SunClan were concerned, the tree hadn't changed from one moment to the next, it was the same beautiful sight as always. To those who believed in the Sun God, whether current members of the clan, or those who'd left, many of which had found home in their neighboring clan, the very one who claimed this tree as their own.
It had appeared suddenly in the evening, the first report of it, from Darkcomplex no less, came at the very moment Glowstar had taken her first step out of DayClan's camp to search for the deity. Not that this was altogether surprising. The deity did love grand entrances, and to flaunt his power when he had the chance. This was simply the most opportune time, and served doubly as a message to the DayClan cats who'd once served him. Perhaps they tried to forget him, but he certainly hadn't forgotten them.
The shaded white tom lounged among the burning branches, pelt alight with the flames that wreathed around his ethereal frame, head resting on his paws as he faced the DayClan camp. Now all that was left to do was wait.
Glowstar stared up at the tree, but refused to give her trademark smile. Whatever, it was super cool and amazing. Pft. So what? She was going to show it. She wasn't going to give him the satisfaction of knowing how absolutely pumped she was to see this tree on fire except it wasn't really, but still cool effect. Because he allowed for Deal to be cursed and it was one thing to cross her, but another thing to realize someone was a sheep who followed. So no smile today.
She did however find herself giddily skipping around the tree ONCE. But that was only because she was in her bitter train of thought and hadn't realized she was prancing excitedly around the tree. BUT NO MORE. This was just business and for Darkcomplex. He cared a lot for her and a part of her understood that there was a real chance that he may never find true love. Which was why this was the least she could do. Not because she owed him, but because Foxstar would never feel she owed him anything.
She glanced around one last time before heading over towards SunClan figuring she'd find him somewhere over there.

The Sun God was no mere mortal. No matter how guarded her expression, how composed she appeared, he still knew how awed she was by the display. At the same time of course, he knew her inner anger. She couldn't understand, not really. But that was not the point of their conversation today.
"Heading somewhere?" There was an amused casualness to the deity's tone, at Strikhedoniadalisay thinking he wouldn't have settled in the illusion he'd created. The flames around him seemed to flicker and die, the flowers remaining alight while the rest of the warm colored light dissipated, revealing the shaded tom with his fire threaded pelt more obviously than before. "You wanted to see me, didn't you?"
"Yeah. I've decided I want to bare Darkcomplex's kits. I don't think he's ever going to pick another she-cat and even if he did have me, I can't give him a family. He deserves to have a real family. So I was hoping maybe you could help me out, give me a kit that he can say is his to love and raise. He's a good warrior, he didn't deserve what Foxstar handed to him in life and if Foxstar's not going to give him the best life she can give to him then I will. So whatever I need to do to make this happen I'll do it," Glowstar said to the Sun God staring up at him unblinkingly which was pretty impressive considering the brightness around her, but also would probably cause her some vision issues in a moment.
