Sydney was an odd cat. Taller than her clanmates, even at an apprentice age, with long limbs and a thin body. She was a Senator, more ancient than anyone, yet not half the actual age of the clan's Priestess. She was a source of knowledge, sent by the deity to teach SunClan about their own past, about the worshipers who once lived on this very land so long ago, before the twolegs ever settled the area.
Lusterpaw had been given the day off, and with the day free from training her littermate, she took the opportunity to go for a walk. It wasn't often she had time to herself, to contemplate the reason she'd been sent, the difference between this life and the one she'd lived before, and she appreciated the moment of quiet, even knowing that things were brewing in the background to get Foxstar returned to them.
