The Sun God lounged at Ceremony Springs. It was one of his favorite places, after all. The deity hadn't said much about SunClan's failure thus far, though he could hear the thoughts of everyone, wondering if he'd abandoned them. That wasn't the case, of course, if his presence was anything to go by.
Thus far, no one had questioned it directly to his face, but he doubted that would last. Cats were hurt and angry, and sooner or later, they'd wonder why Foxstar had been allowed by him to be captured, why SunClan failed. It was simply a matter of time.
Twilightbell was taking some much needed time away from her kits. She had been cooped up in the nursery far too long for her liking. She loved her tykes dearly but that didn't mean that she enjoyed being stuck in the nursery where they trampled over her during their games or argued back and forth to the point of sheer insanity. They had their moments though. She was beginning to see the different personalities of her children as they developed.
She paused when she came to the ceremony springs. While she couldn't see to tell that someone was there, she could both hear them and scent them. This caused her to turn and heard towards the other cat to see just who was out today.
Ah, there was someone he hadn't spoken to in a while. She'd had kits recently, as the deity knew well, with a tom who was willing to leave their opposing deity for the clan. Indeed, the Sun God was keeping a close eye on Pond. After all, he wanted to be well and truly sure the tom had given up his old life before being willing to accept him as one of SunClan's own. "Hello, Twilightbell." The deity purred, wearing a half-smile as she approached. "Kittens are taxing, aren't they?"
His words actually made her flinch. She still felt guilty for betraying the Sun God as she had. Even if it was for Pond...He had even been willing to become an initiate for their family though so maybe she shouldn't feel guilty? She honestly didn't know what to think at this point. "They can be. I never realized just how much energy little ones had." Of course before now she had never spent all that much time around the kits of the clan, but she had also never had a reason to.
Betrayal was subjective. The cats of SunClan had been given permission to have relationships with those outside the clan, so long as their loyalties didn't waver. And Twilightbell was still loyal, at heart, no matter who the father of her kits was. The was what mattered, in the end. "Did you forget so soon how energetic you were?" He questioned lightly, whiskers giving the slightest twitch of apparent amusement.
This drew a small smile out of Twilightbell despite her current mood. "I suppose things have been weighing heavily on my mind. I have a pretty good reminder now with the little ones. They are just as energetic as I was at times." Of course she had retained that energy even into adulthood, but recent events had momentarily stolen that energy away.

"Indeed they have. Your life is not one that has been made easy, but your performance despite it has been remarkable." The deity agreed. Despite what some outsiders seemed to think of him, he was quite the encouraging cat, when he wanted to be. Whether it be issues of love, loyalty, or ability, at this point, he'd talked to most of the clan and helped to assuage their fears in a way StarClan never had. He liked to think they appreciated it. "It is good that you have many cats to help you. They say it takes an entire group to raise a kit, and I don't believe they're wrong."
