Sevilin's judging gaze swept over the cats around him. He was royalty, yet they hardly looked at him. A growl rumbled in his throat at the thought. It was because of his wretched mother. No one wanted to talk to the children of Springlockedgrave. Glances of pity had started making him sick. He didn't want their sympathy. He wanted their respect. He demanded it. The kadet took one finally look at the camp before turning to leave. A walk would clear some of his frustration.
"Brother, as high strung as ever I see." Fikre hummed as she appeared next to Sevilin. The sleek calico she-cat easily going unnoticed most of the time, so used to hiding away that it was almost second nature now. Unlike her brother she wanted no notice directed her way. Finding it more a nuisance than anything else. Her mothers legacy seemed to just hinder her more often than not and she wished to cut herself away from it. So far it was working well, and her own difference in approach to her brother only brought her amusement.

Sevilin's attention was torn from his own thoughts as Fikre approached. "Sister." He greeted coolly, stopping his paws to let her catch up. "Finally out of brooding cave, I see." His eyes glinted with humor only she would notice. He was not a kind, loving cat and neither was she. They could understand each other in that manner. "What brings you here?"
"I saw you passing by." She shrugged tossing him a raised brow. "And I thought to myself; it's been awhile since we played happy loving siblings. Why not try for another bonding moment, then we can go back to not talking for a few more moons before the next time." Honestly she had no real idea what had brought her from the shadows but it was a little to late to disappear back into them again.
