Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
Ferris slid through the city on soft steps, the sleek furred tom's muscles stiff. More distance needed between himself and camp before he relaxed completely. The memory of Shae's sharp eyes still on his pelt lingering. The general not a she-cat to be trifled with, not even when he had the dubious title of her mate. He wished he could sweep their kits up and steal them away, but knew she would likely hunt them down and give them all painful deaths. Even if it was Ferris who stole them away. Others questioned why he stayed and he always came up with a weak excuse for Shae's behavior. And maybe deep down at night he contemplated his light believe she could change. But he stayed for their kits, afraid what they would become if he left them just to her mercies; determined to do the little he could.
Pluto bumped into the other cat, blinded by the many herbs he carried. It was hard being the High Sage in a clan that had such limited resources with herbs. The Sky Garden wasn't in full bloom yet and the wild herbs were far and between. So he collected what he could all in one trip, refusing to make more than one even for trips that took him to the edge of their territory. It seemed he needed them even more now that Shae was among them again. He wasn't sure why just yet, though he hoped he could figure it out soon and put a stop to it. The tom couldn't handle all of these new patients at once. "Sorry." He scrambled to pick back up the herbs he dropped, not even paying attention to who he'd run into.
Ferris turned and peered at Pluto, noting the high sage seemed harried. But the tom always seemed harried and on the edge of disaster. He said nothing though, just judged the herbs closer to him so they were easier to pick up. Unease still prickled along his pelt, the tom still uncomfortable being so close to where Shae was potentially hanging around. Golden eyes flicked nervously towards the city, aching to become lost in the towering maze of building and be forgotten for awhile. Even if he would have to return for his kits.
Herbs laid at the other tom's feet, glancing over Pluto finally realized who was standing in front of him. "Hmm, you are new are you not?" He was sure this tom had only recently joined Absum Lux, or had at least never needed to see Pluto for anything. Unease could be seen easily on Ferris' face, something that put Pluto on alert, unknowing as to what the danger was.
