Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
(Burningstar learns about Fiercepaw leaving for SummerClan, so Burningstar decides to take Ironpaw, Berserkpaw, and Bloodpaw to go see Fiercepaw. partially to see if she was okay, and to understand why she left. As a result Burning learns about Tuskblood being the half sister to her adopted kits and promptly adopts her as well. uniqcrim, amorensi, racer, simplylight)
Burningstar made her way over to SummerClan's border and immediately sat down beside it, she glanced back to check that her three children were with her. They'd been apprentices for a while, but she didn't want to risk something bad happening to them. Bad enough that Fiercepaw had left with little warning, Burningstar wasn't going to risk losing her other kits.
"Okay, we're going to sit and wait here," She told the three apprentices. "A patrol should come by soon, and we'll ask them if they can bring Fiercepaw to speak with us," She hadn't interacted much with Ravenstar or SummerClan cats much. She'd interacted with the previous leader Froststar a little, but not Ravenstar. She hoped SummerClan wouldn't give her trouble. Fiercepaw was her kit. And all she was asking was to see her daughter and make sure she was well and happy.

Ironpaw glanced up at her mother with a concerned look. She worried about her sister, but she also was concerned about the leader. After all the tragedy in Nightclan, it was like a blow to the chest when Fiercepaw left. A part of her felt bitter towards her sibling. Why would she just abandon them like that? She knew why. It was that other strange cat. They had watched the Summerclan deputy at the last gathering with interest, and now they knew that they were siblings.

Cloudyday had been tasked to lead the afternoon's patrol by Tuskblood, but his mind felt so distracted. With all of the nightmares plaguing his nights, he found that sleep was hard to come by anymore. The lack of rest had made his mind weary and fuzzy. He continued leading the small group of cats with little care. There probably wouldn't be anyone out and about anyways. Hardly a moment ticked by before he was trudging right past the group of Nightclan cats.
Burningstar rested her tail on Ironpaw's flank, noticing the expression on her daughter's face. The ginger leader's ears pricked and she lifted her head to look towards Cloudyday. She waited for him to say something first... But then he started walking right past them. Her eyes narrowed, then she let out a sigh straightening up further. Checking again to make sure she and her kits were on the right side of the border, before speaking up. "Excuse me," She meowed to get his attention.

Bloodpaw's heart pounded as he waiting on a summerclan cat to come by. He had been missing his sister, part of him worried she had somehow been trapped in SummerClan. At least that is what he wanted to believe, it was easier to accept than the face that she had just up and left them. There had to be some reason that she hadn't returned or said a word to any of them.

She had been sent out to patrol with Cloudyday and Brightwing. The three of them walked along the border quietly and for good reason. They wanted to draw as little suspicion as possible. If Fiercepaw had realized the sickness in Summerclan she would have asked for help from Nightclans medicine cat but it was too late now. She had abandoned the clan who took her in and raised her up until recently. She knew that she should be regretful and feel guilty about it but she simply couldn't. Fiercepaw wasn't happy in Nightclan and she hoped that she could find happiness in Summerclan where there was another cat who not only looked like her but was also her sister. It wasn't fair for Tuskblood to be in Summerclan alone without any siblings and the large apprentice knew that Ironpaw, Beserkpaw, and Bloodpaw would do more than fine with her being gone.
Upon the sudden words of another cat she perked her ears to look and her ears lay flat immediately of surprise and even a hint of fear. Was Burningstar here to force her to go back to Nightclan? She didn't want to go back. Her gaze moved away from the leader to her three littermates sitting next to her. Fiercepaw's heart clenched and she glanced down, paws shuffling for a moment. "Why are you all here?" She asked, trying her best to keep her voice steady and calm.
Berserkpaw's ears went back at the sight of his sister's face. Was she... afraid of them? Of her own family? He felt sick to his stomach, and the mouse he'd eaten earlier suddenly felt like a rock in his belly. Had they threatened her? Berserkpaw's claws slid out instinctively at the thought. He took a deep breath though and forced them back in, hoping he was wrong.

Cloudyday's paws nearly left his body at the sudden voice. His heap snapped to the small group of mini-tuskbloods and Burningstar and he had to blink a few times to make sure he wasn't having some weird kind of nightmare. "W-who are you?!" He questioned, his tone fearful and wary. "Why are you here?" He tried to calm his voice, but it wasn't working the way he wanted and instead kept getting higher.
Ironpaw's eyes narrowed and she stomped a paw forward and fixed her burning gaze on Fiercepaw. "We could be asking you the same thing." She growled, tail lashing. "You left your family."

Fiercepaw looked over at Cloudyday, "Don't worry, they aren't here to hurt anyone." She assured the tom. It only took her a split second to realize where his fear came from and she felt even more worry and guilt gnawing at her stomach. She turned back to look at Ironpaw and the others and did her best to remain calm and composed. "I am a member of Summerclan now and am obligated to protect it's borders. Under Ravenstar's orders no other clan cats are to cross our borders." She looked up at Burningstar, expecting to see anger or maybe even disgust in the Nightclan leaders eyes.

Bloodpaw felt hurt at his sister's words, a sad look crossing his face. "So that how you want it?" he took a step forward his eyes on her. "So your just going to leave us with no explanation, no reason, and not even a good-bye?"
Burningstar's gaze held neither anger nor disgust. Instead the she cat's gaze was concerned and a little hurt. "I don't understand why you left Fiercepaw." She said honestly. "Was there something wrong?" Had someone done or said something in NightClan to drive Fiercepaw away? She also noted how Fiercepaw spoke was forced, like a pre set bit she'd been fed.
"Are you being held here?" She raised her gaze to the SummerClan cats surrounding Fiercepaw. "You are my daughter Fiercepaw, I want to know why you felt you needed to leave your family behind." She said forcing herself to not demand if SummerClan had brainwashed her or something. Her gaze softened as she looked back down at Fiercepaw.
"I love you Fiercepaw, you are my daughter." She stressed again. "I just don't understand. But I want to. Please tell me why you've left us without telling us, why you've chosen to be here of all places." She gestured with her paw to the mountain range that stood between the family now. Worlds apart. "I just want to understand, and to have you happy and safe."

She shook her head. "No, no one has forced to come here. I came to Summerclan on my own and everything was my decision." She stopped, sucking in a long breath. "I just... I don't feel like Nightclan is my home. I've always felt different and unwanted like no one understood how I feel. I get strange looks and it was exhausting. Here in Summerclan though... Tuskblood and Stagsteel are just like me and they are older. I don't feel like an outcast in Summerclan the way I did in Nightclan. You are still my mother and all of you are my siblings but I feel at home here in Summerclan." Guilt squeezed around her heart. She hadn't meant to hurt anyone but her words were true and her feelings were genuine. Would they be able to see that much?
(Stagsteel is Tuskblood's brother, he's not on the page right now lol)
(*le gasp* should Burningstar adopt Stagsteel too? XD)
Burningstar ignored the other SummerClan cats and set her paws on the border reaching her head forwards and giving Fiercepaw a gentle lick on the head. "Oh Fiercepaw, I'm sorry you felt like that. I know it's been hard, but know you're always wanted." she sighed as she pulled back to being on the other side of the border once more. "It seems that you've made up your mind. Though you say this Stagsteel and Tuskblood are the ones like you? What do you mean, do you mean they resemble you and your siblings?" She asked.

Fiercepaw had to admit there was a deep sense of unease and guilt since she'd left, but not because she had left. She feared that her mother and siblings would hate her forever for the choice she had to make at the end of the day even if it was best for her. "I, we, look different from other cats. By the time I became an apprentice I was almost the size of a senior apprentice. My teeth jut out of my mouth and my face is squished as if I ran into a tree everyday. Most cats don't look like us or are as big as us but Tuskblood and Stagsteel are exactly like us. I can't help but be drawn to them and look up to them." The words poured out of her mouth before she could stop them but the apprentice did not have any regrets. It was the truth.

Cloudyday just stood there looking more and more confused. "I-is this one of those nightmares again?" He wondered out loud.
Ironjaw narrowed her eyes, wishing she could throw all the hurtful words that welled in her heart at her sister. She couldn't bring herself to do it, though. Something in her knew what Fiercepaw was feeling. It was reassuring to be around others like them, and she felt strangely drawn to the two Summerclan cats as well. "Well, if you insist on staying then we should at least talk to them again. You know, just to make sure you're safe with them." She huffed, raising her chin.

Fiercepaw scooted closer to her sister and gently bumped the top of her head against her sister's shoulder. "You'll always be my sister. I can come visit you sometines... if that's okay." She looked up at Burningstar with a pleading look in her eyes.
