Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
Egretcry gently shook himself awake and padded over to the nursery, still feeling a little tired. He'd been alone for most of his life, so it felt a little weird to him to have a daughter, but he didn't want to be awkward around Ghostkit any longer - even if that took a really, really long time. "Ghostkit?" he called out softly, painfully aware that he might have just woken up every kit in the nursery.
Ghostkit opened her eyes and rose to her paws. She exited the nursery being as quiet as she could just in case her den-mates hadn't been woken up by her Father. "Y-ess?" She asked awkwardly.
Egretcry blinked, beginning to stutter. "U-uh...h-hi, Ghostkit," he stammered, not knowing why he was so awkward. "I wa wondering if you'd like to get s-something to eat together. For b-breakfast."
Egretcry blinked in response. "Oh! Uhh, great! I hadn't expected it to be that easy, heh." With a slight second delay, he awkwardly turned to pad out of the nursery. "What's your favourite food? I'll try looking for it."
"Rabbit, huh...?" It was a fairly common prey around WinterClan territory, but quite large, and hard to catch. "That's asking a lot, you know. But uhh, I'll get you some!!!' he hurriedly add, not wanting to tease you. "And if there's no rabbit on the pile, I'll go out there right now and catch you one!!! In an instant!!!!!!"
Egretcry peered over at the fresh-kill pile as they approached it. Underneath the usual smaller mice and birds lay a white rabbit; Egretcry sighed, a little relieved that he didn't have to go outside and equally happy that he didn't have to keep his daughter waiting. "How's that one look, then?" he asked her, pointing to the rabbit on the pile with his tail.
