Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
Sasha's steps were soft as the sleek black furred tom edged along Nigthclan's territory. He knew they were one of the more vicious clans; it made sense that his brother had ended up here. After moons and moons of hearing nothing of Rasputin he had caught word of his brothers name; a name he whispered in question when he thought of his siblings. He had not been around when his brother and sister worked with their father to take over brookclan and bring it into the monarchies ways. Had left to avoid the trouble of the whole affair, but he had learned of Rasputin's attempted assassination.
And suspect that their father Aiden's death had perhaps not been as random or innocent at they might have suspected. But oddly enough that isn't what angered him. No Sasha burned at the thought of Rasputin failing to reach out; funny really that he even cared at all. For what did his little brother owe him? The older brother who had left in the middle of the night without a word, who his bond with even before Sasha left was a frail thing starved of nutrients.
So why was he here then? What sort of confrontation was he seeking resolution seemed a distant fantasy. Amber eyes narrowed across the border and Sasha let his thoughts spiral away from him, content to watch, to see, to find a cat to send a message to Rasputin that his brother wished to meet with him.
Raspberrypaw as usual was scaring away all the prey in the forest. That's why cats told her to go skip along towards the rogue borders and not disturbing other clans. Raspberrypaw was a wisp of golden starlight and wavy locks of honey blond. Her chest and cheek fur were vanilla white including the tip of her tail and the spots along her back that resembled a fawn. Her cheeks were freckled gilded shades and she seemed to bounce about like a doe. Nothing felt better than to feel the wind in her fur, the smell of pines and strange weird cats lurking about. Wait.
Her paws skidded, faltered as her head smashed into the ground still moving from the momentum before coming to a stop right before her nose was smushed into a rock.
Strange weird cats?
Her ears flattened against her head as she slowly got up rubbing at the bruises and scrapes. Her parents warned her to stay away from weirdos, but not all strangers were weirdos... Still she didn't want to approach him and slowly began to turn tail and walk back composed and calm so she wouldn't draw attention to herself. Then again she was in NightClan's shadowy lands and was a golden colored cat, it was a tall order to walk around unnoticed.
Sasha's amber eyes watched her, the lean black tom peering at her retreating figure with intensity unrivaled by any except perhaps those that wish Raspberrypaw harm. Tilting his head he hummed before deciding he had left caution behind long ago. "Hello there, do you mind if I ask you a question?" He called after her retreating figure. He was fighting down a slight upturn of his lips at her attempt to leave as if he hadn't noticed her with her noisy entrance.
She seemed young, but there were always those that kept their youth with them even when others had long since left it behind. Without talking to her he coldn't be positive either way, but he trusted his instincts. They steered him wrong at times but rarely tipped him too far off course.
"You already have!" Raspberrypaw called across the clearing, "But you can ask right where you're standing, mister!"
She looked ready to run, but she also didn't look like a natural born runner, she had the slick fur of a BrookClan cat, not the shadowy fur and soft paw steps of a NightClan cat.
"Do you perhaps know a cat named Rasputin?" He wondered allowed, choosing to ignore her odd mannerisms for now. Who was he to know; maybe nightclan was full of odd cats. It wouldn't surprise him if this was truly where his little brother ended up.
"Yes. Maybe. No! You're a stranger," Raspberrypaw said eyeing him carefully, "And I shouldn't talk to strangers cause I hear the news all the time about strangers hurting other clans and I don't want that to be mine. Bloodtusk would be very mad at me, I mean, who's Bloodtusk?"
She was blowing this, she had to save this conversation!
"Um. Seen any weird clouds lately? I saw one that looked like a squirrel."
This seemed like a safer conversation and a part of herself eased with relief, the day was saved.
"You are proving to be useless." Sasha sighed heavily. "Either a maniacal genius or ill in the head." The slim black tom peered around as if hoping for some savior to sweep in and be able to provide the answers her was looking for. "And no I have only seen clouds that look like clouds recently, as they should." Pausing he considered the possibility of simply ripping out her throat and leaving her. She seemed to at-least know his brother so perhaps killing her would spark some of his old madness. If Sasha made it clear who killed the young thing his brother would come find him.
"Why do you want to see my dad, are you hunting him down? Because if you are NightClan's got a bigger defense than you could ever imagine buddy!" Raspberrypaw said and maybe for a moment she sounded tough, but it faded relatively quickly. She had a feeling she could outrace the tom and she had a feeling that although the tom could cause trouble that NightClan could handle whatever he threw at them. Plus it only felt smart to come back to NightClan to not just tell her dad someone was looking for him, but why they were looking for him.
Not to mention the tom was starting to eye her like his next meal to kill and it was beginning to freak her out.
